The commercial is humorous and clever
Great shows and movies, commercials are short and funny. At first, the ads loaded loudly. Maybe someone at the FCC recently complained about the volume of commercials because they were at normal levels, if not lower than what you're watching. Things are much better as Crackle loads the same commercial at very loud volume and doesn't load properly on the Roku 3.
Said to be inspired by director Robert Downey's experience with commercials, Putney Swope will be the dark, cynical bile inherent in capitalist machinations -- if it wasn't all that funny ,That's it. With the beat of language and the poetry of slapstick, Downey's most beloved film, "Life's Meaningless," tells the story of an agency that struggles with the success of its new elected chief executive, the emblematic African-American Patney S. The story of a sweeping overhaul under the direction of Woop (Arnold). Johnson, voiced by Downey with his hilarious voice, adding an extra dose of cartoonish chaos to an already surreal scene). Swope gets rid of most of the company's "lilies" and replaces them with Black Panther acolytes and Five Percenters and various black workers to fend off the wave of hollow corporatism sweeping America. Swope, in turn, played various revolutionaries—sometimes wearing NOGE costumes, sometimes disguising himself as a Castro impersonator—navigating among the many tribes of late-60s anti-establishment thinking, Whether it is violent or non-violent, it cannot escape the temptation of capitalist power in the end. In other words, Swope is a lousy leader who steals ideas from his subordinates and generally commits any hypocrisy he can, but the genius of Downey's vision is that his corrupt ideas are absolutely corrupt , regardless of race or inequality. Putney Swope is a slapstick and absurd premium on the Zucker Brothers, depicting people struggling with these layers of power (and oppression), not sure how best to Getting what they want from society - not sure if it's possible. Putney Swope is filled with tons of nasty, uncomfortable and super weird commercials that seem to tap into America's horrible identity and have a lot to say but don't really seem to care about being heard. –Dom Sinacola

The commercial is visually appealing and well-made
Does anyone know how many commercials they have when watching a movie? I just tried it for the first time and was surprised there was only one ad and it lasted an hour and also only 30 seconds (the movie only lasted an hour and a half if that has anything to do with it). Great service, they aren't lying when they say they have 3x less ads than other free services. I tried crackle and they show a lot of ads and they are about 2 minutes and 30 seconds long.
I agree there are too many ads too often. I'm trying to watch 50 shades of gray and it runs for about 6 minutes and when it gets to a good part it goes into an ad, or should I say ad 6, 30 seconds, ad to be exact. This is very frustrating and annoying. There should be an option where you can watch 10 minutes or so of ads and then watch the whole movie without stopping the ads, but it won't be any worse than going to the cinema and waiting for the movie to start...
