Here is a step-by-step guide for you to learn how to find all the mobile mausoleums in Elden Ring.

As the Tarnished traverse across The Lands Between in Elden Ring, they'll encounter formidable enemies, including big bosses in each region. Each of those 15 bosses will drop Remembrances, similar to the boss souls present in the Dark Souls series. One thing long true of From Software's Soulsborne games is harnessing the powers of bosses. This is done in Elden Ring through trading Remembrances with Enia at Roundtable Hold. Every single Remembrance grants two options: everything from weapons and spells, to Talismans and Ashes of War.

With so many players desiring both, From Software has taken such a situation into consideration with Walking Mausoleums. These allow for the duplication of Remembrance, but with only seven mausoleums and over 20+, not to mention the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC, players are going to have some seriously hard decisions. If one chooses poorly, they may end up searching for another or starting a New Game+ to get it right.

Differences in Walking Mausoleum

Bell & No Bell & All Walking Mausoleums Location

There are two types of Walking Mausoleums in Elden Ring: those that have a bell and those that don't. Only the Walking Mausoleums with a bell have the capability of duplicating Remembrances of Shardbearers, such as Full Moon Rennala and Starscourge Radahn.

Of these seven Walking Mausoleums, five have bells and are able to duplicate any Remembrance. The other two lack bells and are only able to duplicate Remembrances of non-Shardbearers: the Regal Ancestor Spirit, Astel Naturalborn of the Void, Fire Giant, and Maliketh the Black Blade.

Shadow of the Erdtree DLC adds three Remembrance Duplication Coffins, essentially hidden chests akin to those used in Walking Mausoleums. These coffins can be found in:

Cathedral of Manus Metyr: On the lake behind Count Ymir's house.

Finger Ruins of Rhia: At the top of the path that climbs up to the ruins, on the cliff face.

Finger Ruins of Dheo: On the cliff wall directly below the Fingerstone Hill Site of Grace in northern Scaduview.

Mausoleum 1 (With Bell) West Weeping Peninsula

This original Walking Mausoleum is located in Weeping Peninsula, that area south of Limgrave which always rains. To reach this location first head south from Limgrave, then cross the Bridge of Sacrifice. Once inside Weeping Peninsula, head west to the Church of Pilgrimage. Then head south from the church to find the Walking Mausoleum.

Mausoleums 2 & 3 (No Bells) Mausoleum Compound in East Lirunia of the Lakes

In the eastern part of Liurnia, you will find the Mausoleum Compound with two Wandering Mausoleums inside it. From either Frenzied Flame Village to the south or Church of Vows to the north, head in the general direction of each other. Once you arrive at the Mausoleum Compound Site of Grace, one of the Wandering Mausoleums will be to the south, near the lake.

To find the location of the second Wandering Mausoleum, head up the small hill north. Both should be easily seen from the nearby Site of Grace.

Mausoleum 4 (With Bell) Northeast Liurnia of the Lakes

Prolongation from the Main Academy Gate in Raya Lucaria to the east brings you to the East Raya Lucaria Gate Site of Grace. On the eastern edge of this cliff, you will find a very special Wandering Mausoleum. Compared with others, this one doesn't carry any skulls on its rocky feet; instead, they decorate the shrubbery on top of its back. To enter this mausoleum, you have to climb its back and smash the skulls.

Teleport to the East Raya Lucaria Gate Site of Grace, then proceed towards the above-ground tombstone-like slabs along the western cliff. Go down halfway and wait for the Wandering Mausoleum to come to you. When it stops, jump onto its back with Torrent. Alternatively, take a direct leap using the Spiritspring east of the slabs.

Maoloseum 5 (With Bell) Castle Sol, Mountaintops of the Giants

The most readily accessible Walking Mausoleum is the one just north of the entrance to Castle Sol. To reach Castle Sol, go up the slope behind the Freezing Lake Site of Grace and westward until you find a spot where giant skeletons are bursting out of the ground - the result of an invisible Tibia Mariner - and follow the trail downhill and northwest to end up at Castle Sol.

Outside Castle Sol, destroy the skull growth on the Walking Mausoleum's foot to lower it. You can now enter the coffin inside and duplicate any Remembrance.

Mausoleum 6 (With Bell) Consecrated Snowfield

With the two halves of the Haligtree Medallion in your possession, proceed to Consecrated Snowfield. Some ways northeast of Ordina, Liturgical Town-named as such for the Albinauric patrolling the area with sniper-like accuracy-stands the Apostate Derelict, a rundown church that hosts Phillia, Towering Little Sister, and a Wandering Mausoleum.

This is the end location of Latenna's questline. By the very end, she summons you in front of the giant sleeping woman. In front of entering the Wandering Mausoleum, make sure you activate the Site of Grace within the Apostate Derelict.

Mausoleum 7 (With Bell) Deeproot Depths

The final Walking Mausoleum can be found north of The Nameless Eternal City Site of Grace in the Deeproot Depths. Ways into Deeproot Depths are to progress Fia the Deathbed Companion's questline or find the hidden tunnel beneath the Subterranean Shunning Grounds.

This mausoleum is the same as the one near East Raya Lucaria Gate and does not have skulls on its legs. To access it, go west of the mausoleum and jump up onto the Erdtree's root branches. Once again, wait for it to approach you, jump onto it, destroy the skull growth over the doors so that it stops moving, and enter to find the duplication coffin inside.

This guide points out where in Elden Ring to find every Walking Mausoleum and how to take advantage of their very useful function.
