How to Find the Black Dumpling in Volcano Manor
Start by exploring Volcano Manor and discovering the Guest Hall Site of Grace, located in the southwest region of the mansion. Exit the hall using the northwest door to find a first-generation Albinauric. Using the southern corridor, you can enter another large area where you can farm around five additional Albinaurics for the helmet.
In case you haven't unlocked the Guest Hall Site of Grace, start from the Volcano Manor checkpoint next to Tanith. Head inside the first painting room on the right. Now, move to the wall in the right corner of the room and touch it. This is an illusory wall and behind it is a path that takes you to the Prison Church. Follow the path to the left and go down the stairs after the first iron door. Stay on the right wall after the second iron door and at the end of the hallway turn left again to find the Prison Church Grace site.
Leave the church and turn right. Now, follow the rooftops towards the bridge that can be seen from afar. Once you are on the bridge, keep going straight and when you reach the worm-like enemy, turn left and follow the rooftops again to reach the balcony of the building. There should be a side door on the right to let you in.
Turn left inside the building and go down the stairs. Now move along the narrow balcony and you will find the Guest Hall Grace site in the first room on the right after leaving the hallway.
Finding the Black Dumpling in Leyndell
A group of first-generation Albinaurics can also be found in Leyndell, the Royal Capital. Start by exploring the dungeons and discovering the Balcony of Grace, at the Site of the Avenue. Start at the Site of Grace and use the stairs to the northwest to reach a bridge guarded by a Leyndell soldier.
Head south and jump over the bridge to find yourself in a ruined area where you can find about five first-generation Albinaurics. It is important to note that the Black Dumpling helmet has a very low drop in the later stages, so it is recommended that your discovery is at least 100 and that you wear the Silver Tear Mask while farming the gear.
