In Horizon: Zero Dawn Remastered, it's as easy as pie to get your hands on the Tripcaster. It's pretty early on as you progress through the main story. You will be required to make a trade with Karst during the "The Point of the Spear" main quest. He is situated south west of Mother's Cradle. You can get this trader to give you the Tripcaster in exchange for a Scrapper Lens.

By now, you should have a Scrapper Lens in your possession. If so, go ahead and seek out one of the nearby Scrapper camps; the map will at least fill in general locations of all the bots.
