If you don't know how to use the Tripcaster in Horizon Zero Dawn, here we leave you a guide that will teach you.
One such exception is Horizon: Zero Dawn, which allows users to fight huge mechanical robots; however, instead of guns, major weapons used to kill such monsters include bows and arrows.
Horizon: Zero Dawn features an overall unique arsenal, most of which excel in specific tasks. There are weapons, such as the Tripcaster, which, if in the right hands, could change the course of events completely. Discover every fascinating thing about this amazing weapon and how to use it to the fullest, with the help of the guide below.
Various Ways to Acquire Tripcaster in the Remastered Horizon: Zero Dawn
In Horizon: Zero Dawn Remastered, it's as easy as pie to get your hands on the Tripcaster. It's pretty early on as you progress through the main story. You will be required to make a trade with Karst during the "The Point of the Spear" main quest. He is situated south west of Mother's Cradle. You can get this trader to give you the Tripcaster in exchange for a Scrapper Lens.
By now, you should have a Scrapper Lens in your possession. If so, go ahead and seek out one of the nearby Scrapper camps; the map will at least fill in general locations of all the bots. If you've collected all the supplies, take the Tripcaster back from Karst. You'll then get a tutorial quest on Tripcaster usage that you may complete or skip; highly recommended you do complete it as well if you want to know how the weapon works.
Be sure and equip your new Tripcaster from the Inventory menu.
Tripcaster: Horizon: Zero Dawn Remastered How to
By the end of this lesson, you should have a generally good understanding of how the Tripcaster works. But in truth it's all about how well you can use it.
The Tripcaster fires a projectile that allows the player to set up a tripwire between two points. Should an enemy-person or robot, tissue or tin-cross that wire, the trap detonates, which harms the victim.
Due to the high amount of damage it causes, Tripcaster works very well on machines. Ambush the robot, concealing yourself in thick grass and revealing his patrol path with your Focus. Then lay a tripwire along his path. Time to get out of the bush and just finish the job once the robot springs the trap.
You'll only have the default Tripcaster, which fires Shock Wire ammunition, to begin with. Soon, you'll be able to find and equip upgraded versions of Tripcasters, including new features such as Blast Wire and Fire Wire.
For now, head back to the Skill Menu, where you can pick up the Disarm Traps skill. You'll be able to pick up non-triggered traps previously deployed.
We definitely hope this guide will help try and get you out of your problem; good luck, sans further ado.
