How to get Upgrade Pixels in Disney Pixel RPG

Of all the new resources that come with Disney Pixel RPG, Upgrade Pixels are one of them. Being an uncommon item, level up your units and learn to go against more powerful foes. You may find yourself seeking a more effective method to harvest Upgrade Pixels when you realize just how slow it may be to get them by ordinary plot progression. Thankfully, Disney Pixel RPG does away with that and instead makes a much more realistic choice right out of the gate. If you complete a few easy levels with a bunch of Stamina Points, then you can take those and use them to buy all the upgrade potions you need for any given level.

The Importance of Upgrade Pixels

"Something that can be used to increase a character's level."

In Disney Pixel RPG, you can upgrade your characters with Upgrade Pixels. They increase the values of a character's HP, ATK, and DEF. These things are crucial in order to build up forces with more power and defeat tougher opponents. Normally, players have to complete levels or open chests as rewards to get Upgrade Pixels. However, there is a better method to farm them.

Disney Pixel RPG is a gacha game, and there are two special resources for statistic upgrades: ATK Boost Cubes and DEF Boost Cubes. You can normally obtain these items through the completion of Hard stages and they only buff up your numbers for ATK and DEF.

 Improve Your Pixel Farming Skill

Clear the story further until you reach the Bonus 1-1 level.

Obtain additional Upgrade Pixels by defeating this level repeatedly and over.

Upgrade Pixels can be farmed automatically with the Auto-Clear Settings on.

Farm Upgrade Pixels in Bonus Stage 1-1 upon completion of Prince Saga: Aurora Stages 1-8. If you run out of stamina before completing this stage, you always have the option to use the Auto-Clear feature and start again so that you can manually complete the stage.

On the bottom left of the screen, next to the "Start" button, you'll see the Auto-Clear Settings after tapping the icon to continue with the stage. You can set up your farming strategy here, depending on the setting you want for how many times your characters farm, which moves to use, and when to stop.

You can farm Upgrade Pixels - this means earning up to 300 potions - as long as your Stamina is full, at least 50 Stamina Points, five times. This Bonus Stage tends to drop 55 bottles of upgrading potions.

All the Bonus Stages are accessible from the Magic Gate menu. Tap the "Bonus Stage" tab, which is next to "Story," to see all the different farming resources.

Enhancement Pixel Gained through Expedition

Your characters will be allowed to go on Expeditions, provided you have defeated Mimic Maleficent and have reached the second planet. You'll be able to obtain useful things from these AFK missions, which may take up to 10 minutes, such as Upgrade Pixels. Even though it is slower than farming Bonus Stages, Expeditions still enable you to farm more resources without capping your team. To top it all off, you can use any character in Story combats while sending them on Expeditions, so it's not a lose situation either way.

Tips on Growing More Powerful Pixels

Farm first before fighting the boss, Mimic Maleficent. Defeating the first in-game monster, Mimic Maleficent, requires units of higher rank; therefore, it's recommended to get an Upgrade Pixel beforehand for a better team composition to defeat her later.

Farm with low-level units. Upgrade pixels with Upgrade Pixels. The Explorer character will be able to level up by repeating the Bonus Stage. While you go out to pick Upgrade Pixels, level up the weakest units.

Buff your main attack target units with Upgrade Pixels. If you want your team to deal more damage, level up three-star characters with more attack damage potential and invest your level-up potions in them.

When farming, use Power Saving Mode. The feature lets you save up battery life, speeds up the process of farming, and bypasses most of the animations during the Auto-Clear.
