Unidentified Contaminant Exploration Codex in Throne and Liberty

The quest for the investigation of the unidentified contaminant in Throne and Liberty can be found in the Windhill Shores area. Doing so requires talking to a specific NPC, then using your Glide Morph and defeating one specific enemy. If you can't seem to locate how to finish the Unidentified Contaminant quest in Throne and Liberty, this guide will show the steps to follow.

As adventurers progress through the first chapter of Throne and Liberty, they will unlock the waypoint at Windhill Shores, which is located just southeast of Kastleton.

Adventure Guide: Throne and Liberty's Unidentified Contaminant

Spiral Cliff is where the researcher can be found at Windhill Shores.

The first objective in the Unidentified Contaminant quest is to Meet with a Windhill Shores Researcher at Spiral Cliff. Those who haven't been there yet can find Spiral Cliff in Throne and Liberty south of the Windhill Shores Waypoint. In this location, the correct NPC will be standing at the foot of the stone tower.

Acquire a Reagent of Magical Properties

Players of Throne and Liberty will be tasked with obtaining a Magical Reagent upon speaking with the Windhill Shores Researcher. Because there are shelves directly behind the Windhill Shores Researcher that have some on them, a Magical Reagent can easily be obtained, thus making the task of obtaining one quite straightforward.

Unidentified Contaminant: Glide, Morph, and Spray It

Stand on the edge at this stage, to the right of the researcher in Windhill Shores. From there, the player must use Throne and Liberty's Glide Morph to land on one of the three wooden platforms that are beyond the beach without wetting a single drop of water in the process. Here are the steps to pull it off:

Double jump off the cliff to morph into Glide form.

Make sure that you align with a wooden platform underneath your feet. To make it easier, players can set the camera to be straight up above their characters since it's easier to notice when they've cleared over a platform from this angle.

You will land on the wooden platform by holding down the Descend input, which is "S" on a keyboard and the left joystick on a controller.

Now, use the interact option on the Unidentified Contaminant to complete your mission.

Because players must interact with the Unidentified Contaminant within one minute of collecting the Magical Reagent, they should hurry through these steps.

Kill a Large, Wet Rock Crab

On the beach beside the Unidentified Contaminant, Large Stone Crabs are present, which the players now have to defeat. The catch is that a large stone crab can't be killed unless it is wet. MMORPGs players can make the creature become Wet by: Attack a Large Stone Crab on the beach. The player must flee in the water, wait for it to follow, return to land and beat it.

You can tell when the Large Stone Crab gets wet because a water drop icon will appear under their health bar in the top left area of the screen.

Unknown Contaminant Quest Reward System for Throne and Liberty
