And in the process, we created a whole new breed of shoe. Our collection is crafted to blur the lines between sport and fashion for individuals who blur the lines between work and play and need a shoe that can dress up and keep up. Designed in Los Angeles. 0:00 [Music] 0:06 my name is mup mcgan I'm the design 0:08 director of wolfen 0:10 Shepard with this shoe the closer the 0:13 inspiration came from taking cues of our 0:15 Legacy model the closer and evolving it 0:17 for the Next Generation the closer is 0:19 all about a covert technology we know it 0:21 has the Sleek look the Italian leathers 0:24 the traditional construction it's 0:26 usually a classic silhouette but we want 0:27 to modernize it a little bit making it 0:29 sleeker 0:30 taller overall cleaner sidewall so going 0:34 with the platform gives us that Sleek 0:35 look but gives us better weight 0:37 distribution throughout the foot but 0:38 what makes closer different is the 0:40 vessel and the internal construction so 0:42 it is a sneaker with a dress Sho upper 0:45 starting from the platform construction 0:47 what we decided is instead of having it 0:49 full of leather stacked and TPU we just 0:51 core out the whole midsole itself and 0:54 have a TPU cupsole and we just fill the 0:56 void with as much foam as we can to get 0:58 the most Comfort it's a very covered 1:00 technology so it's all hidden in the end 1:02 no one knows how comfortable you're 1:03 walking throughout the day we went with 1:05 a Italian box leather what Italian box 1:07 leather does it gives us the sheen we 1:09 wanted it gives us the quality cuz it is 1:11 Italian and on top of that it gives you 1:13 the structure that most Leathers don't 1:15 give you going with a really nice custom 1:17 last you get the sculptural forms of the 1:20 foot and no leather does that better 1:22 than box following the form of the foot 1:24 if you're looking for the perfect 1:25 combination of classic style and all day 1:27 Comfort the closer is for you
