This month, we’re hitting the coast down in the South East of England to try some truly incredible beers! Kicking things off we have Sambrooks Brewery and their beer Block Party. A perfect crossover, this beer has the intense, juicy tropical aromas of a modern New England IPA, coupled with the drinkability and balanced bitterness of the old-school West Coast IPAs that changed the craft beer world. An all US hop profile and a bright golden colour lead to a very appealing beer. Light box subscribers have lots to look forward to including Wild Card’s Stegosaurus IPA. The beer is a hoppy IPA brewed with an oat base and fermented with Wild Card’s in-house hazy yeast blend. Expect bold pineapple, grapefruit and mango aromas from a generous Cryo Citra and Simcoe dry hop. Mixed box subscribers also have their own delights such as Nightbus by Four Pure. This beer is a smooth stout with a bittersweet dark chocolate finish. Oat malts call the shots across the flavour profile backed by Saaz and Magnum AT hops. This is a hazy IPA with a classic soft mouthfeel, thanks to the inclusion of oats in the malt profile, and a light lingering bitterness.
