Where to Find the Effigy Necklace Totem Fragment in Avowed

Players can find the Effigy Necklace Totem Fragment inside the Naku Tedek Grounds in the Emerald Stair region of Avowed. It's a prominent location that you'll be visiting during the Ancient Soil main quest. It's located just west of Maxim's Claim and southwest of Fior Mes Iverno.

Head Inside the Naku Tedek Grounds

Follow these steps to find the Effigy Necklace Totem Fragment:

• Enter the Main Building: Once players reach Naku Tedek, simply enter the main building to start looking for the totem fragment inside.

• Follow the Hallway: After entering the Naku Tedek Grounds, follow the hallway leading to a dark pit with broken spiral stairs on its sides.

• Carefully Descend: Carefully descend the pit using the spiral stairs, as falling from height might fatally damage your character.

• Choose the Left Path: Once you're at the bottom, take the pathway on the left, and you'll come across a locked door with an Essence Generator on its side.

• Power the Essence Generator: Either use an Electric Lily Seed or a spell to power the Essence Generator and open up the door ahead.

• Cross the Pool: Once inside, you'll spot a pool to the right with a giant tree branch leading to the higher platform. Use the Eye of Rymrgand or Ice spells to freeze the water, then cross the pool and climb the tree branch ahead.

• Find the Totem Fragment: Use the tree branch to get up to the higher platform. Once you're on the higher platform, look at the table to the right to get the Effigy Necklace Totem Fragment.

Equipping the Effigy Necklace and Its Effects

Once you have the Effigy Necklace Totem Fragment:

• Travel to Your Party Camp: Either carefully descend the tower or simply fast-travel to a nearby party camp.

• Activate Its Effect: Place the Effigy Necklace Totem Fragment on the Schemer’s Offering Totem Base to activate its effect in Avowed.
