Noxious Vetiver arrived in Destiny 2 after introducing the Tomb of the Elders in Act Two of Revenant, bringing decent options for a god roll under its belt. This new 600 rpm Arc SMG comes with a couple of expected hits, along with a couple of unexpected perk options.
Noxious Vetiver has access to Shock Feedback, a no-kill version of Voltshot that quickly became Arc's new favorite after its release in Revenant. And while that trait is certainly on our list of god rolls, it also has a few other options in the fourth column.
That said, Noxious Vetiver doesn't have all that many stellar options for its first perk. The standouts are generally average, and the weapon's poor stats hurt its case as well.
Here are our god rolls for Noxious Vetiver in Destiny 2, with perk data from d2foundry.gg.

- Barrel: Rifled Barrel, Arrowhead Brake, or Spiral Rifling
- Magazine: Attached Magazine, Tactical Magazine, or Flared Magazine Well
- First Perk: Orbs of Attrition or Loose Coin
- Second Perk: Shock Feedback, Frenzy, or Desperate Measures
Noxious Vetiver doesn't have the best stat package, so our part choices aim to offset those rather significant downsides. Rifled Barrel and Arrowhead Brake both boost an abysmal handling stat, while our magazine choices aim to boost her terrible reload speed.
As for perks, Orbs of Attrition and Shock Feedback have some nice synergy—they both require you to deal sustained damage to activate. The bow-based perk was already at the top, but this combination launches Orbs of Attrition to the top of our god list. In any case, you can never have too many Orbs of Power (unless you get a guitar error code).
Normally, we wouldn't even consider Loose Change, but it pairs well with Shock Feedback, and it's not like there's much to compete with. With enough enemies, you can have near-permanent uptime on it, which helps offset Noxious Vetiver's poor stats. Bungie insists on bringing this perk back from the dead, but in this case, it's a good combination. And again, it's not like you're up against heavyweights like Rewind Rounds, Overflow, or Subsistence here.

For the fourth column, Shock Feedback remains steady at the top of our list. This perk shines in content where it's not that easy to get kills or where enemies only absorb a few more hits. It's the foundation of the god feature, so we recommend pairing it with Orbs of Attrition or Loose Change. Thanks to the attached magazine, it took us about 20 shots to activate it, using a magazine with 28 bullets. Loose Change gives you enough time to activate Shock Feedback again, allowing you to maintain a much-needed stat buff.
Our other choices are Desperate Measures and Frenzy. The former is better if you can chain kills together easily, while the latter is better in cases where enemies are more resilient. We'd choose Shock Feedback over Frenzy because of the subclass synergy.
Is Noxious Vetiver Worth Farming in Destiny 2?
While "Is anything worth farming?" is always subjective, this one is a bit easier than others. With no red borders and the absurdly messy and unfriendly tonic system, getting good rolls of Noxious Vetiver can be quite tricky. If you had been around for Season of the Seraphs, the IKELOS SMG_1.0.3 is the gold standard for bows. Voltshot is also a phenomenal choice. For some situations, Jolting Feedback may be the better choice, but it's closely associated with Noxious Vetiver for this comparison. The IKELOS SMG would be our choice primarily because of stat packs and archetypes.
How to Get Noxious Vetiver in Destiny 2
Noxious Vetiver is obtained from the Tomb of the Ancients in Revenant. We haven't gotten one from Onslaught: Salvation yet, though we have received some as drops from Tomb of the Ancients activities and respective tonics.
After unlocking its recipe, you can craft a Tomb of the Ancients-specific Noxious Vetiver Tonic. We got it after crafting some blue rarity Grave Weaponry Tonics, which can grant any weapon from the activity button. The Noxious Vetiver Tonic requires:
- Two Enriching Nuggets (obtained fromobtained from Tomb of the Elders/Contest of the Elders)
- Three Enriching Powders (obtained from any activity)
- Twenty Recovered Vitality obtained from kills while the Aether Siphon buff is active.
