Treyarch has provided a new approach to BO6 Zombies, making it much easier to get camos and experience while using a new in-game option that provides a tutorial for the main missions on each map.

The best way to get XP and camos in Black Ops 6 Zombies is to enter a match using the new Directed Mode, which provides a tutorial for the main Easter Egg mission. To enter a Directed Mode match, follow these steps:

• In the Zombies lobby, select "Select Mission." 
• Tap the option that says "Directed." 
• Select whether you're going into a solo match or being in a squad - online with random players or friends. 
• Select the map you're going to play on.

For the best approach, I recommend Liberty Falls as the map. If you're playing solo, don't forget that you can save and quit at any point in your match. It means you'll have one to progress through, but you'll still be playing standard Zombies with your friends.

When you're in the match, the first level cap will be level three, though you're restricted to the starting area. I highly recommend progressing until you reach the Pack-a-Punch machine, at least, as this makes clearing out Zombies much easier.

For the best approach, follow the Easter egg main mission tutorial until the round limit hits 11 or 12. In multiplayer, I've found 11 to be the sweet spot, as it guarantees a Mangler will spawn, which you need to take out to complete some special camo challenges and unlock the Opal camo. In solo, the sweet spot is 12 for the same reason.

When you hit the round limit, just rinse and repeat. Unlike standard Zombies games, the perk vending machine spawns much earlier, so head there and pick up Deadshot Daiquiri as soon as you can. This makes securing headshots much easier, particularly since you can quickly drop in and out of ADS to one-shot Zombies with most weapons.

Once you've found the camos you need on your weapon, head to the random box to either throw down another weapon you need to complete or buy a weapon you haven't completed off the wall. I'd advise having two weapons going, focusing on different challenges.

For example, in my playthrough, I currently have a Pack-a-Punched PU-21 as my secondary weapon, which I pull out whenever a Mangler spawns, as I need special Zombie takedowns for Opal camo.

There is speculation that this farming method might be changed in a future update, so use it while you can. However, there is no confirmation that any changes will be made to the Zombies Directed mode to do away with camouflage and XP gains.
