- Select Grok

How can I opt out of Grok AI on X (Twitter) on mobile?
X (Twitter) also offers the option to turn off data sharing with Grok on Android and iOS devices. Turning off Grok AI on the X app on mobile is the following process:
- Open the X app on your mobile device
- Tap on the Profile icon in the top left corner
- Expand the Settings & Support section
- Tap on the Settings & Privacy option
- Go to Privacy & Safety
- Tap on the Grok option
- Tap on the Allow your posts, as well as your interactions, inputs, and results with Grok, to be used for training and tuning option.
You can repeat all these steps and turn on or enable data sharing with Grok in case you want to.
Privatize your X account to prevent Grok from using your posts
It is possible to prevent Grok from using your posts for training or to generate responses to user queries. To do this, you need to make your account private. Also, after this, only followers can see your posts - including the permalink. While that doesn't completely stop Grok from accessing data, the sharing option is good if you want to prevent Grok from using your post. This means you're going to follow these steps:
Go to your Twitter X account Open the menu and check Your privacy and safety: Open the Audience, media and tagging option that belongs to the category: Your activity on X Select the option:
Protect your Tweets Tap on the Protect option inside the confirmation box.
To make your account public again, follow the steps above and uncheck the Protect your posts option.
On Android or iOS, to make your X account private, do the following:
- Open the X app
- Tap on your profile icon Go to Settings & support > Settings & privacy
- Go to Privacy & safety > Audience & tagging
- Check the Protect your posts option

Delete Your Grok Chat History on X (Twitter)
By default, all your chats or conversations with AI Grok are stored and you can access the Chat History by clicking the hamburger icon in the top right corner of your X account. If you don't like it, you can delete all your chat history or conversations with AI Grok on the X platform all at once. After you've done so, the deleted conversations will be erased from their systems within 30 days. Chats may be retained for legal or security reasons. Here are the steps:
- Open your X account in a new tab in a web browser
- Go to More > Settings & Privacy > Privacy & Security > Grok
- Click the Delete Chat History option
- In the confirmation box that says Do you want to delete your chat history?er to access all that chat.

- Open the X app
