How to Unlock the Feelers Out Ability in Star Wars Outlaws

Unlock Mercenary

One of The Mercenary's abilities is the 'Feelers Out' ability. First, Kay needs to gain Expert level with Rooster Trace to unlock this ability. It is on Kijimi that The Mercenary's intel chain can be found in the "The Safecracker" quest. The Mercenary's questline, which also includes Kijimi and Tatooine, comes after completing Rooster's quest. After completing Rooster's quest, he can then have access to ability challenges, such as 'Feelers Out.'

Fetch Items: Have Nix fetch a weapon, grenade and bacta vial.

Stealth Contract: Complete a thief contract w/o detected

Make Nix Jealous: Pet another animal w/ Nix present.

When 'Feelers Out' is unlocked, the amount of enemies Nix can detect and highlight via the Nix Sense mechanic is doubled.

During gameplay, you may notice a symbol hovering over objects which will indicate when Nix can interact with them. Scans over one on a weapon, grenade, or bacta vial and press LB/L1 to have Nix retrieve it.

To find a Thief contract, visit any Job Broker. To trigger Nix's jealousy, simply pet another animal while he's in the vicinity.

Following the steps above, and knowing Nix is some kind of overprotective companion, will successfully trigger his jealousy for the challenge 'Feelers Out' in Star Wars Outlaws.
