How to Complete The Alchemical Revolution in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Now that Jafar is a villain in Disney Dreamlight Valley, your friendship with him can continue to bloom. When you've completed the main quest of The Optics of a Second Chance, you'll begin your friendship level four quest with Jafar entitled The Alchemical Revolution. In this, you and the royal vizier will work together to create the Gilded Stone-an incredibly powerful alchemical tool used in the process of turning base metals into gold. How to Complete The Alchemical Revolution Quest in Disney Dreamlight Valley - This is a step-by-step walkthrough on how to complete it successfully.

Approaching Jafar and inquiring about his alchemical pursuits will begin the Alchemical Revolution quest. He will share with you a secret recipe, the Gilded Stone-a wonder tool that refines materials into gold. But there is one problem: he requires Iron Dust to make this recipe real.

Find Iron Ores and Bring Them to EVE

EVE can help you craft Iron Dust. In fact, give her three of the Iron Ores to do so. You will know which ores to get by mining gem rocks from the following biomes: 

Forest of Valor

Glade of Trust

Sunlit Plateau

Frosted Heights

Forgotten Lands

Give her the ores, and EVE will use her laser to make the Iron Dust.

Meet Jafar in his Laboratory and Do the Alchemical Experiment

Go to Jafar's Laboratory located in his vast palace. Now give him the three Alchemical Iron Dusts that were extracted from EVE. He will ask you to cast them into the cauldron. You will be rewarded with the Alchemical Gold in return. However, he will inform you that this will not do for the making of the Gilded Stone. 

Talk to Villagers and Gather the Ingredients

To find out what missing alchemical ingredient, three well-known villagers must be spoken to: Ursula, Jack Skellington, and Fairy Godmother. They will explain that the Major Essences-three in number-are a condensation of the emotions of the valley's inhabitants. Major Essences, in turn, are made up of three Minor Essences each. That would suggest a 3:1 ratio.

In this case, to find these rare Minor Essences, search for:

Ancient Sand-Polished Stone: Can be fished in orange bubbles in The Borderlands.

Mini Holiday Tree: Grown from Holiday Seeds obtained from Jack Skellington.

Book of Fairy Magic: Found in the Ancient's Landing biome, often floating.

Take all three Alchemical Ingredients back to Jafar's Laboratory and give them to him.

All Essence Combinations (The Alchemical Revolution Quest)

afar will now brew seven types of Minor Essences using the given Alchemical Ingredients:

Essence of Patience

Essence of Determination

Essence of Excitement

Essence of Sincerity

Essence of Fantasy

Essence of Hope

Essence of Desire

Mixing these Minor Essences will create three Major Essences:

Essence of Will: Patience, Desire, Determination

Essence of Wonder: Excitement, Hope, Sincerity

Essence of Wishes: Fantasy, Hope, Desire

Try different and various combinations upon the Resource Table to unlock the proper formulas.

Craft the Gilded Stone

Give the Major Essences to Jafar and he will teach you how to make the Gilded Stone. Place the three major essences into the pot at the table. It will turn out such an experiment would result in something totally unexpected: instead of a Gilded Stone, you'll make a Mysterious one. Now go back to Jafar and tell him your news.

Get Emotive Essences and Show Them to Jafar

You'll need two Emotive Essences to complete this Gilded Stone, which you get by gifting five favorite items to villagers and then completing five of your Dreamlight Duties. After you've done those, you can pick up both the Essence of Benevolence and Essence of Wisdom near the Wishing Well at Eternity Isle

In doing so, you mark the completion of The Alchemical Revolution quest and grow a little more friendly with Jafar.
