Here you have a complete post that will teach you How to Heal in Deadlock.

In the world of Deadlock, keeping a healthy hero is important. Opponents will pounce on low-health heroes to take advantage of their weakened state. Being far behind in Souls can make you fall very far behind in competitiveness, trying to take last hits and apply kill pressure. Healing your hero is a very important part in coming out on top and crushing your enemy in lane. This game doesn't go into great detail in telling you how to heal yourself, so here are some effective ways to heal.

How to Heal in Deadlock

Out of combat, heroes naturally regenerate health in Deadlock. However, this rate of health regeneration differs across characters and right now, Mo & Krill and Bebop are at the top of this list. In some cases, it may help you out, but pure natural regeneration is never enough to support your hero during the laning phase.

For more efficient health management take a closer look at the following ways of healing available in Deadlock.

Going Back to the Base

The most straightforward method of healing in Deadlock is falling back to base via the Transit line. This will give you full health back, but at the cost of Souls missed and the potential lane pressure. Your opponents will try to push your lane and will target your Guardian in this manner.

Well, if this is the case and you need to retreat back to base, try to get a kill on an enemy hero if possible before retreating. This will avoid the opponents from being too aggressive in pushing your lane. If possible, use Zip Line Boost on the way back to hurry up and get back into the action.

Heal From The Banner Trooper

The troops are neutral units patrolling each lane, attacking enemy Troopers and heroes, advancing the lane. Every 25 seconds a set of four spawning consists of two Ranged Troopers, one Melee, and one Banner Trooper.

Since it's such a pain to go all the way back to base, try to stick around your Banner Trooper when you're running low on health. Every so often, this unit will emit a healing burst that heals itself and nearby allies. The heal to heroes isn't particularly large-only 40 HP-but it can be a godsend during the laning phase.

Once a Tower Guardian has fallen, the laning phase is over, and the healing output of Banner Troopers increases for heroes to 80 HP.

Purchasing Healing Items

But what really differentiates Deadlock from the rest of the hero shooters out there is its spin on item buying to better its heroes. Players can earn Souls during gameplay and use them to purchase items in the Curiosity Shop, which grant bonuses such as damage, attack speed, health, and healing.

Extra Regen provides 2.8 Health Regen, while Healing Booster offers 2 Health Regen for passive health regeneration. Fortitude has a different effect-it heals 4% of maximum HP when out of combat for 11 seconds.

As for active healing, the items would consist of:

Healing Rite: 370 HP regen over 17 seconds; it also provides increased sprint speed.

Restorative Locket: This locket charges up, then refills 35 health per charge.

Health Nova: Heal all allies in a radius of 18m and gain increased healing for additional allies.

Rescue Beam: Heal yourself and a targeted ally to 30% of maximum HP.

Restorative Shot in the Weapon tab-heals for 35 HP against enemy hits at 500 Souls. Headhunter, at 3000 Souls, provides maximum HP healing at 8% per headshot.

Rescue Beam can be used to save allies from crowd control effects by pulling them towards the user during the channeling period.

Buying Lifesteal Items

Apart from healing items, Deadlock provides lifesteal items. These heal health depending on the amount of damage dealt to enemies. Items can be bought from a shop known as the Curiosity Shop and are divided into Spirit Lifesteal, Bullet Lifesteal, and Melee Lifesteal.

Spirit Lifesteal: Restores health due to the spirit damage from an ability, item, or weapon.

Bullet Lifesteal: Heals you with every primary shot you fire from a weapon.

Melee Lifesteal: Drains health on a melee hit or a melee-based ability.

Choose a life-stealing item that identifies with your hero's major damage type for maximum efficiency.

Healing Abilities

Deadlock features 21 unique heroes, each with their special abilities and item builds. Some of them have inherent healing, which makes them more survivable and changes the way they are played.

Abrams, for example, with the ability Siphon Life, leeched the life force off his enemies and made him far more aggressive. He does not heal the allies directly; it is McGinnis who summons a healing spirit that heals all allies around him.

Some of them can even bless their allies with bullet or spirit lifesteal, thereby indirectly helping in restoring health.

Feel free to experiment with different heroes to find your favorite way of healing. With the game continuing to evolve, new abilities and items might be added that offer additional strategies.
