If you're wondering which planet you should go to first in Star Wars Outlaws, here's a guide with the best answer.

Coming off those exciting times in Toshara, Star Wars Outlaws gives you a choice of three planets to visit next. This will be one of the most important choices you'll make in how your main quest unfolds. Sure, each has its rewards and experiences you can delve into, but one might fit more into your overall goals or story preferences. If you're having a little trouble deciding, let me share with you my personal journey so that you may make an informed decision.

Three Planets, One Choice

Star Wars Outlaws gives you total free will when it comes to its planets. You aren't stuck to a set order, and can make landfall on whatever world you want, exploring whenever you want. This might not make perfect narrative sense every time, but again, the decision is entirely up to you. Before I recommend a starting point, let's go through each planet and find out exactly what you will be facing.

Kijimi

Kijimi, the icy home of the old syndicate, has a more focused feel to it compared to the open expanses of Akiva, Toshara, and Tatooine. You may not be able to ride free upon a speeder, but the city of Kijimi is claustrophobic with action and possibility. Contrasted against the expansive worlds of Akiva, Toshara, and Tatooine, Kijimi conveys a much more contained urban atmosphere.

Kijimi is the best place to initiate if you are basically a reward-seeking player because of the gameplay rewards awaiting you. Complete the quests and activities on this planet for the powerful Power Blaster Module that you could use to destroy rocks on other planets. Kijimi is also a good starting point when it comes to building reputation with the Ashiga Syndicate.

Tatooine

Tatooine is just one of those iconic desert planets that no Star Wars fan should miss. Other than its sentimental value, this vast world provides extensive content: for players who want to be more aggressive, it unlocks the use of heavy weapons and enhances Kay's Adrenaline skills.

But, story-wise, Tatooine has a lot to offer. Key story moments and establishing your rep with the powerful Hutt Cartel. You may stroll down the busy streets of Mos Eisley or take a risk out in the dangerous Dune Sea.

Akiva

Akiva, without doubt, is one of the most beautiful planets in Star Wars Outlaws, with breathtaking landscapes. If the beauty of this place attracts you, then you will not be disappointed. First of all, Akiva has some of the most valuable upgrades in the game.

These provide access to water traversal with your speeder and the Electro-shock Rod, which can stun elite enemies in a seriously critical and useful manner, amongst other things. You will also receive a fusioncutter, which is used to unlock certain areas on other planets.

Akiva's cameo role will please the Star Wars fans too. For a combination of visual pleasure with some gameplay benefits, Akiva is the place you have to visit.

Best Choice for Story and Gameplay Purposes

For me, personally, I decided to go to Kijimi, Tatooine, and then Akiva in that order. Really, this is not necessary for any reason at all, but this order does flow nicely with the story. There is a specific part of the Akiva mission that is heart-wrenching when you have spent some time with a character on the other two planets.

If you want to optimize for gameplay upgrades, you can actually go to Akiva first. It doesn't matter in which order you go to Tatooine and Kijimi, story-wise.

Remember, it is your choice, but you can activate and pause quests on various planets at will. Akiva is something I saved for last, though-if you want to make the full emotional impact of it meaningful.
