Once in talking distance of Daisy, click on the speech bubble with an ellipsis. This will select the discussion option you want for the quest. The text of the speech bubble will be different every time, however, the icon will be the same, so it's easily recognizable.
Daisy might appear anywhere in the valley, but she will always teleport to the Boutique when you do a visit. It is a good way to get her here if she doesn't seem to show up.
Note that, in this context, "dish" means having a conversation or gossiping and does not relate in any way to the preparation of meals. This may confuse as the title is talking about cooking; however, knowing what such a term truly means is key to completing the quest.
