The India Men’s team will don the new kits for the first time during the upcoming World Test Championship Finals. Having kitted some of the biggest sporting teams in the world, in a recent announcement adidas confirmed their partnership with the BCCI, marking a new era in Indian cricket. With the exclusive rights for designing and manufacturing jerseys, kits, and other merchandise for Indian Men’s, Women’s, and U-19 teams, the new partnership gives adidas the opportunity to make a positive impact by bringing their innovative designs and expertise to cricket in India. adidas marked the launch of the new adidas team India jersey with a launch of its latest brand campaign, featuring top cricketers including Rohit Sharma, Harmanpreet Kaur, Virat Kohli, Hardik Pandya, Shubman Gill, Smriti Mandhana, Renuka Singh Thakur along with some passionate Indian crickets fans. The film, attempts to answer a seemingly simple question - What does this Indian cricket team jersey mean to you? A question that’s tough to answer. And that's exactly the sentiment the video attempts to capture via a visual spectacle that takes us through the hearts and minds of players and fans. We see them playing off of each other, sometimes even completing each other’s sentences, in this fast-paced film set to a catchy track. Shot across dusty lanes, packed terraces, crowded buses, and near-empty trains among other places, the film depicts the unwavering love for the jersey that every fan and player feels, through rain and shine and wins and losses.
