A supernatural presence, the Rokurokubi, an entity with a serpent-like neck and a face hidden behind an ornate mask, begins to manifest. Yet the true horror lies in what it represents: the embodiment of their deepest fear, the fear of being forgotten, of becoming ordinary again, invisible and irrelevant.
