If you don't know how to set up the initial applications, you don't need to go to the Windows 11 Configuration application, you have a complete article that you need with it.

Some Windows 11 and 10 users have reported that the Startup programs do not appear in the PC's Settings app. The Task Manager's Startup applications section is accessible to them. But they can't access or manage their startup apps since the Settings app lacks the Startup page. Users have reported that standard solutions, such as resetting the Settings app, have not resolved the issue.

Not all startup apps appear in the Settings application in Windows 11.

For Windows 11 users whose the Settings application is not showing you the Startup programs page, below are some of the actions you can take:

Enable the visibility of the Settings page using the Group Policy Editor and then restore or correct the entries to the Startup page of Registry.

We can verify these corrections:

1] In the Group Policy Editor, make sure to check the visibility of the Settings page.

You can also change the Settings Page Visibility option to hide or show some special settings pages in the Group Policy Editor window. You may want to hide all settings pages from here. You aren't able to access Windows Setting's Startup page due to the inclusion of an entry, which hides it in this option. With the identification of what led to the problem, you need now to follow these procedures as a way of solution for it:

To do that, hit the Win+R shortcut to open the Run Command box.

Then type gpedit.msc and hit the Enter button.

In it navigate to the following: System Preferences > Administrative Templates > Panel Settings

Under the Settings Page Visibility option double click the button to enable.

Something new will pop up. In this window, you'll have an option to select "Enabled" if you want to hide the Startup page and/or other pages.

In the text field in the middle of the left side of the screen find the entry for hide:startupapps and remove it. If there are other entries, such as hide:startupapps;defaultapps, etc you can simply remove the text associated with startupapps to avoid unhiding the other entries If you don't see anything selected, simply go to the very top of the settings box and click the "Not Configured" button.

Select Apply and then click OK.

Open the Settings application again, and then open the Apps page. Once you open the Startup page, you will see a list of applications.

2] Restore or repair the Registry entries on the Startup page

Similar to many other important settings, the Startup page and its programs have their entries in the Windows Registry. If the Registry entries are deleted or updated with incorrect values, the Startup page in Windows 11 Settings will not appear. You, therefore, have to restore or repair the Registry entries related to the Startup apps page. Some users said this update worked for them. Before you proceed with this option, you should create a backup of the Windows Registry which you may want to use later on. Now perform these steps:

In the Search box, type regedit and press Enter. A window called the Registry Editor will open.

Open the root Registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE and find the System key. Here's how:

From the Microsoft Windows registry key, register the current version of Windows.System

Look for the 32-bit SupportUwpStartupTasks DWORD. Double-click the value to edit it.

In the Value data field, fill in a 1.

Click OK.

Look for the 32-bit DWORD named

EnableFullTrustStartupTasks. Select to activate edit box for its value

In the Value data field, enter 1 and press OK.

Locate the DWORD (32-bit) Value of

EnableFullTrustStartupTasks and modify it.

In the Value field, place 2.

Click the "OK" button.

To turn on the UwpStartupTasks 32-bit DWORD, give it a double click. In order to bring up the Edit Value dialog box, set the value to

In the Value field, type in 2.

Click "OK" on the menu.

Close the Registry Editor.

If you cannot find these entries in the Registry, create new DWORD (32-bit) Values, rename them, and then add their value data as described above.

The Startup page is available under the Apps category in the Settings app.

We hope this joint allows you to set up the initial applications that do not appear in the Windows 11 Configuration application and we will continue to do so, as we have seen.
