If you don't know how to fix the problem of the mouse cursor not blocking in the game on Windows 11, here we leave you a guide that will help you with it.

There are cases in Windows 11 and 10 where the mouse pointer does not stay locked on the game window. In fact, there are a few cases when this problem occurs. Sometimes, the mouse does not lock in some games like Minecraft, while other times it locks in all of the library games. There should be an immediate fix for this as it slightly disrupts the gameplay. How to fix the problem is detailed herein.

Fix: Windows 11/2010 mouse cursor won't lock to game

Before trying these below solutions, make sure you have updated both the game and operating system. If that doesn't work either, then try these:

Start up the program or game again.

Wipe the Scoreboard

Launch LUA Remove or update the driver software for the mouse and touchpad

Turn Off Mouse Precise

We should go into depth about them.

1. try starting up the program or game over.

The easiest solution-restarting the game or launcher-will do the trick. This will fix the problem by removing the glitch. So, restart them, and then see if it fixes the problem.

2.Clear the Game Bar

The possibility does exist that, if you have used the Xbox Game Bar while playing the game, then it might be corrupted or misconfigured. Our best option would then be to reset or repair the Game Bar. How this is achieved is explained by the following solutions.

Press the Windows key along with the icon to open the Settings menu.

Proceed to System > System Components.

Pick Advanced Options from the menu that appears when you go to the Game Bar (three dots).

Press the Repair button now.

If fixing doesn't work, hit the reset button.

Before you proceed, make sure the problem has been fixed.

3. Turn on LUA

Due to a fault, LUA (Limit User Account) can influence both the mouse pointer and the User Access Control (UAC) feature. It basically causes the cursor to behave unlike anything we have seen so far, and so it must be disabled. Of course, we will only adjust the registry if LUA is on; if it is not on in the registry, then this adjustment must be made to repair this bug. I would just go ahead and backup the registry real quick just in case and take these steps below to adjust the registry.

Find and open the Registry Editor via the Start menu. Now, go to ComputerHKEY_LOCAL_MACHINESOFTWAREMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionPoliciesSystem. Look for EnableLUA; then, right-click and modify Value data to 1. After you restart your computer, check if the issue is there. Yes, to rectify, it needs to be changed from 0 to 1, the system has to be restarted, and then it will work.

4. Update or reinstall the driver software for the mice and the touchpad.

If this issue has occurred in all of the games you have ever tried to play, it can be due to an issue with the mouse driver of your system.

Update your mouse or touchpad driver to the most recent version if it does not fix the problem.

Now that you have downloaded the most recent driver, uninstall the old one and install the new one.

If it doesn't work, try updating your graphics drivers.

Read: When using full screen mode to play games, the mouse pointer vanishes.

5. Mouse Pointer Precision Off

You can set the speed of the cursor as per your mouse movement speed using the Mouse Precision parameter. With pointer precision turned on, the cursor moves around faster when the mouse button is held down and slower when the button is let go. In most instances, this improves the user experience; however, in this case, a flaw has made the feature problematic. The issue should be resolved by disabling the feature. To do so, simply follow the steps below.

Open the Settings app.

To access the mouse, open Bluetooth & gadgets. Tap on Extra mouse options now. Under Pointer Options, toggle off the option to "Enhance pointer precision". Click Apply > Ok to complete.

With this, we hope we can solve the problem of not blocking the mouse cursor in the game on Windows 11, see you, bye.
