At last, Chapter 6 of Season 1 of Fortnite has arrived, and loopers now have a new island to explore: Oninoshima. It brings with itself six biomes inspired by Japan, each with their unique point of interest that can range from a mystic woodland filled with sakura trees to a metropolis and a samurai castle.

There are also bosses in the island that you can defeat to loot some valuable medallions and powerful weaponry. 

Or you can get charmful beings called Sprites, which give you access to a lot of functions throughout the game-like to traverse, heal, receive boons, free loot, and even show hidden places.

It's true that the island has hidden areas like vaults and caves that can only be reached by those with a daring enough spirit to discover them. So far, our findings indicate that the Chapter 6 map has two hidden vaults. Find out how to open both of them here.

Discover the key to unlocking Fortnite's Nightshift Forest vault!

You might find a secret vault in Fortnite for the first time in Nightshift Forest. But, you need a key to open it before you can progress. The Bushranger NPC spawns randomly at one of the three Shrines in the POI, so if you happen to see a Sprite running around, catch it and take it to him.

To give him the Sprite, simply interact with him and then click on Show Item. If he detects it, the skylight will change into a sunny day, and he will give you the key to the vault. That key will appear in your inventory.

Next, with the key in hand, head to the spot on the map indicated by going down the stairs immediately down the stairs to a place with a circular concrete vault door. As you approach the safe, press the Open Vault button.

After you do that, the vault front of you will slowly open, revealing a Typhoon Blade. Two Elemental Chests and four unusual chests can be found in the vault. To facilitate healing, you will also see nine Slurp Barrels dispersed over the area. Take everything you've earned from this enchanted woodland and revel in it.

The secret passageway to Fortnite's Magic Mosses and the open vault

The second secret location is a hidden cave near Magic Mosses POI. It can be entered just below a shed at the above highlighted area. In order to open the vault, however, you will need a Sprite, so you'll want to make sure you have one in reserve.

Once inside the shed, you will use your pickaxe to destroy the floor below you, which will make you fall onto a platform with a treasure chest. You will get the treasure and break the platform below you, allowing yourself to tumble into a body of water that leads you to a secret cave.

Once inside, find treasure in the chests on the sides. Grab a Sprite and head to the rock between the two turtle statues. As you approach this rock holding a Sprite, it will suddenly rise, revealing a hidden room.

Once inside, you should see that behind one rock, it requires a break in order to find a loot chest. You will also find - Typhoon Blade stand, two Elemental Chests, one uncommon chest, and a lot of Slurp Barrels in this hidden vault region, which will be open if you break it. When you have gathered enough treasure head back towards the main cave through the same way you come in, there you will be able to see a Port-A-Potty where use it to head out.
