How to find Lapislazuli in Enshrouded

You should get lapislazuli while playing Enshrouded. Even if you're low on crafting skills, you're gonna need this purple rock to upgrade your Flame Altar and lots of it. The item is used in multiple crafts.

Finding lapislazuli might take some time. The spawn only shows up in the Kindlewastes of Embervale, one of the later biomes, and you might find it a bit difficult to spot unless you're used to traversing this scalding hot desert. Lucky for you, players, the helpful component constantly spawns in one or two main spots.

Where to Find Shrouded Lapislazuli

Scrounge up your pickaxe and head towards the Kindlewastes, southeast of the Nomad Highlands, if you want lapislazuli in Enshrouded. If you have been here before, proceed to its Ancient Spire. If you haven't been to the desert wastelands, Teleport to the Ancient Spire - Nomad Highlands and head east. You'll know you've entered the Kindlewastes when you eventually come across fluffy sand and hot orange rocks.

If this is your first time in this biome, you will want to make use of the fast travel points in order to quickly move between your base and the Lapislazuli mining site. During my search for Tin Ore, this approach turned out to be quite helpful.

You've finally made it to the Kindlewastes, where you can begin searching for lapis lazuli. If you look above, this mineral looks exactly like several plum-colored pebbles that have popped up out of the ground. This is definitely one of those cases where just because the mineral is more colorful doesn't mean that it's no longer scarce. My search attempts a lot farther south yielded more this resource for me.

South of the Oasis, on the southeast side of the Kindlewastes Ancient Spire

Tip: Level up your axe-making so you can mine faster.

If you want to speed up the rate at which you are getting lapislazuli from this deposit and slow down the rate at which your axe is losing durability, then I suggest you make a better axe, such as a Copper Axe. This will extend how long you can harvest this resource before you need to go back to a crafting bench and fix your tools.

If you're still having trouble finding lapislazuli, check your display settings. The Lapislazuli deposits disappeared after I turned off the tiny foliage setting - which greatly helped my search for Stinging Nettle. After a /long/ time of searching I finally found this limitation when a purple patch of sandstone showed up.

You can construct your very own Flame Altar near a deposit for the purpose of a fast transit point; however, you should keep it at least some distance from the mining site. This stash of lapislazuli will remain absent until you dismantle your altar, as the game does not respawn resources that have been mined or altered within your base. To avoid the build zone's yellow lines, move it far enough away from the deposit.

Crafting items using lapislazuli

When you have collected sufficient lapislazuli, head back to base to begin crafting any of the hard-to-make items in your inventory. You can craft the Eternal Spells at the Alchemist, the sets of armor from the Blacksmith and the Hunter, and the luxurious furniture from the Carpenter, among many other end-game items.

Be rather careful with how much lapislazuli you are using for your different Enshrouded projects as you progressively make your way through the Kindlewastes in search of more. It takes a keen eye to find, and you will need decent weapons to ward off local enemies.
