If you are wondering how to activate the hidden treasure quest in Dragon Age The Veilguard? here is a complete guide with the best answer.
There are a lot of side quests incorporated into Dragon Age: The Veilguard; some of them will consist of several sub-quests. A secret Hoard is one of them, and it takes place in Minrathous. It is about the discovery of some sort of hidden treasure. Although it may seem uncomplicated, the real challenge is finding the treasure room and three essential clues. If you're playing Dragon Age: The Veilguard, this walkthrough will show you how to complete all clues and thus A Hidden Hoard.
Dragon Age: The Veilguard: How to Unlock a Secret Hoard Quest
Activating the notice board in the Wharf Crossing North sector of Minrathous will trigger the A Hidden Hoard side quest. In this area, you can even find a fast travel point; to the north of it, you'll see this notice board.
Finding the First Clue

The first objective requires you to get to the trailhead. Take the road and keep walking, and you will be right up to where the noticeboards are. You can see a storefront up ahead on your right with a bright red neon sign.
To progress through the A Hidden Hoard side quest, you will want to head to and read the note on the left side of the table. You can use this first clue to determine where to go for your second clue.

Getting the Second Piece of the Puzzle
Head back to the noticeboard location for the second clue. Fortunately, the stairs leading down to the Minrathous Side Alley Bridge location are across from it. After going down the stairs, turn left and head straight through the entrance; you will arrive at the decaying Tidarion Tower.
You need to climb up the platforms to the first level of this decaying building. Continuing from there, on the left side of the screen is a letter, while on the right is a treasure chest that, when opened, will reward you with increased rarity of the Shimmering Sight Charm Amulet.
The second paper should lead you to the old tower near the water as the location of the third clue, which you may decipher by reading it.
The Third Piece of Evidence
Head back to the stairs you went up in front of the bulletin board; those head to the third clue. When you arrive, continue down the road to the left. Just down the road from here is another fork; take that left.
You can find notes on every table in this room, and this path leads you to the paper merchant in the Shoreline Passage district of Minrathous. Locate your third hint by reading the note on the right-hand wall.
The third hint gives you A Heavy Bronze Key and a hint where to find the room with the Ancient Door containing treasure.
Finding the ANCIENT ENTRANCE
To find the room containing the Ancient Door, you'll need to head to the Catacombs. Luckily, the entrance is directly opposite the paper vendor, so it shouldn't be too hard to reach.
Head down the line of docked boats that extends from the Shoreline Passage into the Catacombs. Go through the entrance straight in front of you when you take your second left as you enter the Catacombs.
Opening the chest just before making the left will yield you a utility belt called A Dragon's Brace. You can now head down this path until you come up to some mercenaries waiting to ambush you trying to get through the Ancient Door. Take the mercenaries out and enter the room in which they were occupying.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard's Dock Town Side Quest Without Confronting Desperation
Primary Game's screen capture
After you complete A Hidden Hoard, the side quest Desperate in Dock Town should automatically trigger. But it is not happening for all of the players.
Desperate in Dock Town, In Memoriam, and A Hidden Hoard are three-part side quests. Desperate in Dock Town won't trigger itself unless you complete the In Memoriam quest.
Two walls separate you from the Demon of Desperation-a monster that has been massacring the desperate poor of Minrathous, luring them with promises of treasure they might find.
Once you complete the In Memoriam, the two walls will crumble, and you can finally make your way towards Demon of Desperation and the three-part side operations in Dragon Age: The Veilguard.
