• Convert to Basic Disk 

First, make sure you are logged in with an administrator account and have a boot disk ready.

• Type “select disk X” and replace X with the disk number you wrote down.

Prepare Basic mode to convert the selected disk from dynamic to basic. If you have multiple external drives, run the steps above for each of them. Once done, close Command Prompt and restart your Windows PC.
