A new Star Path, titled The Night Show, came with Disney Dreamlight Valley's Jungle Getaway Update. Much like previous Star Paths, by completing tasks within The Night Show Star Path, you'll receive tokens and rewards featuring the theme of a rock show. Although there's a ton of foraging and collecting that can be done within the game, some of the tasks within the Star Path system of Disney Dreamlight Valley aren't exactly the easiest to complete. With the Hourglass Royal Tool able to dig up a large variety of items, one may start to wonder how to actually dig for pottery material once the assignment becomes available.

Well, the hidden meaning behind pottery material is not that mysterious after all; once you know what to look for, finding it is no hard task at all. There is a large number of crafting recipes that include the mysterious ceramic material in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Disney Dreamlight Valley Night Show Star Path Duty Pottery Dig Directions

In Disney Dreamlight Valley, clay is acquired by digging. You can dig your way to find the material for pottery using the Royal Shovel in the following Disney Dreamlight Valley biomes:

Barren Lands

The Glade of Trust

Sunlit Plateau

You will need to collect 30 clays in order to fulfill this Star Path duty. Luckily, while you might see only one lump of mud as you're digging, you often actually get two or three pieces of clay. Thankfully, this means you will only have to find about ten or fifteen lumps of clay to complete the assignment, so gathering materials for pottery isn't a particularly time-consuming Star Path requirement. Of course, you can always hasten things further by having a digging friend over or splashing Disney Dreamlight Valley's Miracle Shovel Polish. Chances are more clay drops will pop up. You could also try digging in different places to raise your chances of the clays popping up, as opposed to digging the same places in the same biome over and over again.

It's not just the clay that will be found in Disney Dreamlight Valley, but it's the soil and gold star coins, too. The clay doesn't necessarily need to be dug from any special region; it can easily be found throughout Glade of Trust, Forgotten Lands, and Sunlit Plateau.

When you complete the pottery dig, you'll receive 15 tokens that you can spend to unlock items within the Night Show Star Path Rewards menu. Most Star Path rewards weigh more heavily into the token expenditure, but you can use them on cheaper items such as the Punky Braids hairstyle for 15 tokens or the Fantasia Magical Loungefly Backpack, for example, which costs 10 tokens. You will also be allowed to use the excavated clay for construction purposes, even with bricks, within Disney Dreamlight Valley and outside the valley.
