Keep reading, and you can learn how to fix Computer display suddenly too big in Windows 11 because here's everything you need to know.

Apply these fixes to restore your computer's screen from being suddenly too large. When the display resolution goes off, it is really tricky working on the computer. The problem may be due to faulty installation of the driver for the graphics card or incorrect modification of display resolution.

Computer screen suddenly too big on Windows 11

If you have Windows 11 or 10 and the screen suddenly becomes very big, then attempt the following fixes.

First and foremost, make sure the screen is set to its recommended setting.

Secondly, go and take a look at your display's physical controls.

Next, check the pin connections.

Is this just occurring within some programs?

Have you gone into settings and found a way to change the resolution of your screen?

Keep your graphics card driver updated.

Change the graphics card driver to that which your computer supports.

Just run the GPU driver setup without changing anything.

All these fixes are here described in detail.

1] Set the screen settings as suggested

You can go back in your system preferences and revert any changes you've made to the display resolution or scale if the issue started after you've changed that. Leave the suggested resolution level.

To do so, open the Windows 11 Settings, click on System > Display, and then select the recommended choices under Scale and Display resolution.

Make sure the hardware controls of your display are working.

You also want to check the physical buttons of your screen. Sometimes they are the culprit causing your problem. Go check your monitor's manual to see what each of these physical controls is for.

3. Ensure the cable ends are firmly attached to their respective slotted slots.

Last but not least, I would recommend checking all the cables, especially the one between your computer and the screen. Try to connect your screen with a different cable. If after this, it would not make any difference-the problem may be in your cable.

4-Does there appear to be any particular application to which the problem is related?

Ctrl key and mouse wheel together to change browser resolution. If it does not occur but on a few programs, then remove the problem program and re-install to see if that fixes the problem.

5.] Have you setup any software to change the resolution of your screen?

If you are working with a Windows-based PC, you can adjust your screen resolution using one of a variety of programs. Perhaps you have already downloaded one and it is the problem you are dealing with. To uninstall that program, go through the following steps in the Control Panel. If the enlarged screen is so out of control that you are having trouble working with your computer, you may start up in Safe Mode and uninstall the problematic program.

You have to boot into Safe Mode using Windows Recovery Environment because the increased screen resolution is making it impossible to use the computer normally.

6-Install the most recent driver software for your graphics card.

Problems with the display are caused by a faulty graphics card driver. It is possible that this applies to you. That is why it is very essential to install the latest version of a graphics card driver. Take your graphics card driver from the official website, install the latest one, and then uninstall the old version. If your computer is down, then you can install the driver right from downloading to another working computer and then paste the installer file on your PC through a USB flash drive. Run the installer file to update your graphics card driver to the latest available version. 7] Roll back your graphics card driver to a previous version compatible with your computer system.

If there is another version of your graphics card driver available that works, then you can install it. If necessary, you can boot into Safe Mode.

Just do the following:

Launch the Device Manager.

Expand the list of devices under the Display Adapters category.

Now go to your graphics card driver directory, then click on Update driver.

Please click on Search for drivers on my device.

Now click on Let me choose what to do and Permit me to pick a driver from my computer's list.

Check the box that says your hardware is compatible to do so.

Now choose an alternative driver version for your graphics card.

Click Next to advance through the steps.

Find the problem-fixing version by using all of them installation.

Step 8: Install the modified GPU driver.

The last resort is to reinstall the GPU driver from scratch when the problem persists. First, download the latest graphics card driver from your computer's manufacturer website. Download a third-party program called Display Driver Uninstaller. For installing the graphics card driver completely, launch the DDU program and start booting into Safe Mode. Run the .exe file that you have downloaded from the official website for installing the GPU driver.
