Press Shift + F10 keys on the Windows installation screen to launch Command Prompt. Type the following command and press Enter: manage -bde -status The above command will show you the BitLocker status of all the partitions on your hard drive. You can see the protection status as On or Off. Now, unlock the locked hard drive partition by running the following command in the command prompt: manager-bde -unlock: -rp In the above command, replace: with the correct letter of your hard drive partition and your BitLocker recovery key. For example, if you want to unlock the hard drive partition D, then the command would be: manager-bde -unlock D: -rp Now, the next step is to disable the BitLocker-encrypted hard drive partition. For that, you need to use the following command: manager-bde -protectors -disable : Enter the correct hard drive partition letter. For example, for the hard drive partition D, your command would be something like this: manager-bde -protectors -disable D: You should now be able to install Windows.

2] Delete the BitLocker-encrypted hard drive partition
