Prepare for learning Lethal Difficulty Rewards in Space Marine 2, as here we will be able to tell you what you need to know.

We can't say that things are going to get any better anytime soon, but this new lethal-tier difficulty option has really been a pain in Warhammer 40K: Space Marine 2 since Patch 4. Fortunately, if you're after exclusive goodies, lethal mode does offer a few.

Saber Interactive has included some really great cosmetic items for those who are totally fine with tanking hundreds of Zoanthropes in Lethal Mode per mission. I'm all but certain that the new difficulty-exclusive cosmetics will be super hyped to get, but I am glad that Lethal Mode does not include any new tiers of weapons. Here's what to expect and the exclusives that come along with playing Lethal Mode:.

All Lethal Difficulty Rewards in Space Marine 2

In the broadest sense, Patch 4 introduced two brand new exclusive Lethal Mode rewards, namely:

A helmet worn by a surviving Astartes warrior of a tremendous fight

Special skin for Power Sword with wounds from a fight

To get the Survivor's Helm, players will have to complete all seven of the Operations in Patch 4 of Space Marine 2 on Deathly difficulty. The more straightforward path to getting the Power Sword skin, although still punishingly demanding for ordinary players, is to finish the new Termination Operation on Lethal difficulty.

Of course, there are many other rewards as well. You'll get a selection of decals for completing each Operation at each difficulty and some at Termination, too.

Are Space Marine 2 Lethal difficulty rewards worth it?

First major update to Space Marine 2 was Lethal Mode, and Saber Interactive has already promised a slew of new content for the game through 2024 and 2025. Patch 4 introduced The Termination Operation, Lethal difficulty, and associated special rewards along with heavy player nerfs. For now, I'm not sure I think you should pursue those unless you're advanced in knowing the meta of Space Marine 2 and can take a strong fire team into it.

Since you won't have all cosmetic items in Space Marine 2, you may want to save the Lethal exclusives for later in the game when the content is really heavy.

As we've previously discussed on Destructoid, Space Marine 2 has a weird progression and difficulty curve. It just doesn't make any sense, and it's really no good leaping into anything above "Minimal" before leveling up a bit. Unless you are seriously bored, you might want to hold off attempting Lethal Mode until the next patch is available.

This would be all about Lethal Difficulty Rewards in Space Marine 2; hopefully, this has been as helpful as possible for you.
