How To Unlock The Pickaxe

It is unlocked with the Revive the Oasis Story task, and Friendship Level 11 with My Melody are required to obtain the Pickaxe. 

Level Up My Melody's Friendship

Giving My Melody a total of three gifts in a day will level up your friendship with her. This can be somewhat time-consuming and may require an invested player, but there are ways to make this process less monotonous.

To avoid an issue that may cause this quest to not unlock correctly, it is suggested that you do not go into your device's settings and change the date and time in an effort to time travel and give more gifts each day.

One of the stronger methods is by Hangyodon; he unlocks an espresso machine after perfecting his diving talent. A Pink Latte made with strawberries and an espresso machine is a great way to show My Melody love whenever one gives this as a present. Alternatively, a strawberry that My Melody has chosen at Pocacco will do to give.

Having Hello Kitty by your side while making the Pink Latte will increase the random probability of making more.

Start The Revive The Oasis Story Quest

The Revive the Oasis story quest will pop up once your friendship level with My Melody reaches 11. The only way you'll get the Pickaxe is by doing that quest. Go ahead to Gemstone Town and follow the quest. You'll get the blueprint of the Pickaxe as you start the quest. 

Craft Pickaxe

Now that the designs are obtained, you can start making the pickaxe by cutting out 10 woodblocks and casting 3 ingots. 

You can make the woodblocks using simpler methods, such as gathering sticks from or coconuts falling onto the island. 

To craft the ingots, you will require iron. The matching game in Gemstone Town gives most of the materials that you may want, so you can source your iron there.

In the crafting table near Chococat's tent, you will have the capability to craft a pickaxe if you have gathered enough iron and wood.

What Do You Do with A Pickaxe?
