In Satisfactory, fuel can be used for generating power, transportation, and powering drones. Fortunately, the need for fuels prioritizes themselves according to the progress you currently are. Ideally, you should try to generate electricity from fuel first. Fuel Generators use the refined fuel that is produced from crude oil to generate electricity. Compared to other production lines like Nitrogen Gas or Alumina Solutions, fuel oil production setups are very simple.

On the contrary, Turbofuel makes them much more challenging. Turbofuel can be produced by combining fuel with compacted coal. Is it worth creating these Turbofuel every time you add a step to the process of making refineries? Every step adds another byproduct to worry about.

Fortunately, Turbofuel does not produce any waste products; however, to convert fuel into Turbofuel and acquire Compacted Coal, you will need to construct additional refineries. You will be able to make better fuel simply by adding sulfur and coal to your manufacturing process. If the locations of your sulfur and coal are closer to your oil production setup, then turbofuel will be a worthwhile investment. How Much Power Does Turbofuel Make in Satisfactory?

Power production for both normal fuel and Turbofuel is as follows: 

20 cubic meters per minute of normal fuel production is 250 MW. 

Turbofuel at 7.5 cubic meters per minute outputs 250 MW.

Overclocking a fuel-power generator to 250% will grant you 625 MW, which turbofuel equivalent to 18.75 m3/min.

To convert these Turbofuels into useful power you would want a plethora of Power Shards since the 250 MW is constant. Ever use Power Shards for anything other than raw resources, like Miners, Oil Extractors, Resource Wells, etc. Resorting to Turbofuel as a source of power is, therefore not a good idea. Attaining Turbofuel makes you on the brink of an alternate source of power, so it is not out of the woods.

Turbofuel with a jetpack will increase your lift and to a lesser extent, your flying time.
