How To Get Cosmetic Tokens in Once Human

Once Human has a selection of cosmetics, some of which are available through earning in-game. Cosmetic Tokens are a useful resource to spend in the in-game store to buy skins. This guide will walk you through how to earn and spend Cosmetic Tokens in personalizing your character's appearance.

While the premium shop holds a larger variety of cosmetics, Cosmetic Tokens offer a free way into personalizing your in-game character. For those unhappy with several default looks your character may be wearing, well, Cosmetic Tokens can replace those with more appealing pieces.

How To Get Cosmetic Tokens

Cosmetic Tokens are earned by duplicating skins that usually buy with real money. It is also possible to get Cosmetic Tokens without spending money, simply by being very active in the game. To get the free tokens, go to the menu Seasonal Goals, then to Seasonal Shop. Here, it's possible to buy Butterfly's Emissary loot crates with Mitsuko's Marks, a currency earned by completing Seasonal Goals.

While regular cosmetics are relatively easy to get from loot crate drops, the purple-tier items fall out a lot less often. However, you should be able to build up enough Cosmetic Tokens through diligence and persistence in opening the loot crates. Note that your Mitsuko's Marks will eventually run out, so you may have to wait for the next wipe to stock up again.

Summon V to access the Seasonal Shop. Please, be aware that Butterfly's Emissary loot crate may be updated with the seasons.

Cosmetic Token Spenders

The Cosmetic Tokens are redeemable through the in-game store via the "Other" tab. Click "Redeem Cosmetic Token" to unlock skins.

Store-bought cosmetics, as well as emotes, appear under the "Cosmetics" tab of the Character menu. Click any of the slots to see which skins you have unlocked - including dyes from Colorful Badge loot boxes.

How To Use Colorful Badges And Dye Cosmetics

Colorful Badges are a special currency to recolor certain cosmetic items. Not all skins can be customized. Only those with a color wheel symbol in the Cosmetics tab can be dyed.

To dye an item of cosmetic, first choose a valid item and then click the "Dyed" version that appears underneath the original. Afterwards, by using Colorful Badges, you will unlock this dyed version.

By playing hard and completing your Seasonal Goals, and opening loot crates, you can build up a stockpile of Cosmetic Tokens and customize how your character looks in Once Human.
