The M416 assault rifle series is among several new weapons that join Once Human with the update called Way of Winter. Scorched Earth, for one, is a variation in this family of guns, perfect for those interested in early elemental builds.

Location of Once-Human M416 Scorched Earth

The M416 Scorched can be found in Obsidian Camp, a Vulture Stronghold in the southeast region of the Onyx Tundra. All but a handful of the enemies in the area are at rank 15 and the vast majority of them carry ranged weapons. Of course, you're free to charge headlong into the mountain the moment you've finished the intro scene-you get your motorcycle relatively early in this post-apocalyptic tale.

Bring a torch and a set of armor you have crafted with you so that you don't freeze to death.

Obsidian Camp's Mystical Crate requires driving down the highway past the apartment lining the highway and into the large cave. You'll have to either sneak or fight your way back out of the Vulture camp to get back to the surface. Starting from the mountain base below, two paths to the Mystical Crate are by either exploring the area surrounding the improvised platforms or, as above, taking a rail path to the second level from the lobby, where a widely open window provides a route.
