Poodle Locations in GTA Online

From its first steps, Grand Theft Auto Online has had many makeovers, updating new content into its world with ever more ingenious challenges. One of the most emphatic welcomes of the recent update was the injection of wildlife into the somewhat staid world of Los Santos. One such challenge is taking pictures of several of these animals to earn a large in-game reward.

While most creatures are relatively easy to find, the elusive Poodle surely will. This guide will arm players with knowledge to undertake their wildlife photography and eventually get this prized canine subject in focus.

Los Santos Tourist Board

The wildlife photography challenge can be turned on by accepting a mission given by the Los Santos Tourist Board, placed along the road connecting Los Santos and Paleto Bay. That famous viewpoint is indicated by a purple camera icon on the in-game map. By driving up to the board and interacting with it, a daily list of three animals that should be captured on film will appear.

Alternatively, upon entering a free-roam session, players will receive an in-game email with the same list of animals to be completed on that particular day.

The first animal, when successfully photographed, will unlock the Park Ranger vehicle for purchase from Warstock Cache & Carry. All three of the marked animals taken in one day will reward the player with the exclusive Zoophilist outfit.

Poodle Locations

The Poodle is one of the more challenging photographic subjects in the wildlife challenge of Grand Theft Auto Online. These posh pooches like to live the high life, spending most of their time in Los Santos' fancier areas. Center your search around the more affluent districts, such as Rockford Hills and Vespucci Beach, for a greater chance of photographing a Poodle. You should also drop by Richman's opulent enclave of sprawling mansions with manicured lawns.

Another promising location is the area surrounding the Ponsonbys clothing store in Rockford Hills. This has been one of those places where a Poodle has often been spotted. To maximize your chances of success, spend some time wandering around the streets surrounding it. These normally are the kind of animals that lie in front of stores or sometimes even walk along sidewalks. Be extra careful when taking a picture of a Poodle, for they can be easily scared by simple motions. After managing to find one in a stationary position, take every precaution to compose a shot according to the challenge requirements. Only a clean and full-centered image will get the entry approved.

Remember, patience is a virtue while hunting for this elusive breed. In addition, the Poodle's preference for daylight hours and aversion to rain further narrow the window of opportunity available to you within which to conduct your search.
