If you don't know where to find honey beasts in Fallout 76 here is a step-by-step guide.

The Fallout 76 post-apocalyptic world does have plenty of mutated creatures that are really a grotesque testimony to the devastating consequences that happened after the Great War. The Honey Beast is one such stalwart adversary that can be discovered in this grossly irradiated Appalachian wilderness.

Honey Beasts will be encountered a lot across the region and are frequent targets for Daily and Weekly Challenges, among other activities. Because of that, players will have to track down these camera-shy creatures to obtain a photographic record of it to complete the Tadpole Badge. With this guide, you will be equipped with the knowledge of how to track down those evasive Honey Beasts and be able to complete your objectives.

What Are the Honey Beasts in Fallout 76?

Honey Beasts are large, mutated relatives of the humble honey bee, warped by the harsh realities of post-apocalyptic wasteland living. These enormous insects have abandoned the skies in favor of a terrestrial life and present a unique threat to survivors. Compounding the risk even more, smaller bees frequently nest on their backs, serving as loyal, but stinging, allies. Honey Beasts may also be accompanied by aggressive Boatflies for added difficulty and unpredictability in the encounter.

All Honey Beast Variants in the Game

Apart from the regular variant, there are other Honey Beast variants in Fallout 76. Ten of these mutated creatures spell a chase for their money in these various warring paths. They include the following:

Deadly Honey Beast: It is an aggressive and dangerous variant.

Frenzied Honey Beast: Chaotic behavior and is rather unpredictable.

Giant Honey Beast: A large, more difficult version of the normal Honey Beast.

Glowing Honey Beast: Emits a strange glow, possibly with extra powers.

Poisonous Honey Beast: Inflicts poison damage on players.

Prime Honey Beast: A very powerful, rare variant which becomes available only during the event known as Prime Cuts.

Putrified Honey Beast: A decaying and potentially dangerous form of the Honey Beast.

Rabid Honey Beast: Heavily aggressive; very hard to sedate.

Raging Honey Beast: Enraged and prone to fits of rage.

Scorched Honey Beast: This fire-based variant also has a bit more heat resistance.

Where To Find Honey Beasts In Fallout 76

Honey Beasts can be found in a few large regions within Appalachia. A couple of these extremely deadly creatures can commonly be found to the south of the Middle Mountain Pitstop, near Seneca Rocks Visitor Center, within the garden between Whitespring Resort and Golf Club, and within Treetops. Another location is a cave northeast from Freddy Fear's House of Scares.

Those looking to engage in a more challenging battle could be rewarded with Glowing Honey Beasts in the Blast Zones. On the other hand, Vault Raids familiarize some players with special variants of the Honey Beast that are rabid, giant, deadly, and frenzied. The poisonous honey beasts can only be found in Vault Missions.

All Honey Beast Events In Fallout 76

Apart from their natural spawning in the wasteland, there are several other events where players might meet the Honey Beasts:

Fasnacht Day

Irrational Fear

A Real Blast

Scorched Earth

Primal Cuts

Project Paradise

Spin the Wheel

Safe and Sound

These present players with increased opportunities to confront these imposing creatures and secure extremely rich loot.

While these locations present higher chances, players should still be prepared to sweep much of Appalachia in search of the Honey Beasts.
