Here we leave you a complete article so you can learn How Camp Pets Work in Fallout 76

A whole lot of new stuff comes along with the Gleaming Depths update for Fallout 76. The update includes things such as raids, earning 4-star legendaries, and so on. Among them is something players have been asking for since a long time: CAMP pets. While players could already get CAMP pets before the update, they weren't easy to get. Outside of the occasional Fallout 1st animal, players could only gain a pet by attempting to tame a wild beast.

This comes with its own set of challenges. Taming a wild animal was difficult to undertake. Not only that, but it wasn't uncommon for the creature to either disappear via a bug or get itself killed while roaming around the player's CAMP. The new CAMP pets feature allows players to keep cats and dogs in their base with zero chance of getting hurt.

How To Get A CAMP Pet

At the time of writing, there is two ways to get yourself a CAMP pet. The first one will be through the Atomic Shop. You can buy a CAMP pet for 800 atoms. The Atomic Shop is subject to many changes; as such, you have absolutely no idea whether or not you can snag a CAMP pet in the store in the future. The second method to earn a CAMP pet is by ranking up until Season 19. This season's scoreboard features two CAMP dogs that are available. Below you can find the details:

Ranking 81st, 50 tickets for the White German Shepard.

Bombay Cat: 81st place, fifty tickets

Placing the pet's shelter in an appropriate location will cause your pet to appear at your CAMP once you've unlocked it. You are allowed to customize your CAMP pets. Your pets can have special clothes and accessories designed just for them. Further, there is an emote menu available for communicating with your pets, and you have naming options available as well. While there is little space left for Bethesda to add new animations and features as of now, the minimum interaction opportunities will suffice.

A Look Into the Future of CAMP Pets

Players have been asking for CAMP pets for a while now, so Bethesda will no doubt be expanding the pet selection in the future. They may also expand the selection of pet apparel and accessories. It is not clear whether or not Bethesda will add more pet content through gameplay or the Atomic Shop, but there is much that can be done to enhance CAMP pets.

Currently, players can get either a dog or a cat as a pet. Though, when it comes to pets, the options are pretty endless. Along the line, Bethesda should have a whole lot of fresh options ready for players, knowing that CAMP pets have been one of the common features at the players' respective CAMPs.

With this guide, we hope you learn how camp pets work in Fallout 76. We also want the best for you, until later.
