How to Unlock Facewear in FFXIV Dawntrail

After the arrival of the latest Final Fantasy XIV patch, you will have to unlock Facewear if you want to be able to equip the glasses to your character.

Purchasing New Facewear:

• The Facewear feature is unlocked automatically upon updating to Dawntrail (Patch 7.0), even for free trial players.
• However, the menu will remain empty until you own some Facewear.

Where to Buy Facewear:

Several vendors across the realm sell Facewear for 3,000 Gil each. Here are some locations:

• Limsa Lominsa: Bango Zango (Lower Decks, X:9.9, Y:11.4)
• New Gridania: Maisenta (X:11.5, Y:11.2)
• Ul'dah: Roarich (Steps of Nald, X:10.6, Y:9.5)

Additional Sources:

• Gold Saucer: You can win Facewear as prizes through various activities here. Talk to the Gold Saucer Attendant (X:5.1, Y:6.6) to unlock these activities.

Equipping Facewear:
