Frontier communications is hoping to get consumers to switch to its new service with a $200 rewards card
Frontier doesn't appear to have a DSL contract, but its three fiber plans have an optional 1-year contract if you sign up for the Visa Rewards card. The discounted pricing on the 500Mbps plan ends after one year, while the Fiber 1 Gig discount ends after three years -- there is no discount on the 2Gbps plan. Frontier's TV and Internet packages require a two-year contract. After you place your Frontier order, become a customer for 90 days, and pay your first invoice in full, you will be notified of the Frontier reward. We will send you an email to the email address you provided with the sale; if no email address was provided, we will send a letter to your home address. This notification contains all the details on how to redeem your card.
The card is available to anyone who switches to frontier's new tv and broadband service
You can find some cable internet providers in the Frontier service area, including Mediacom, Spectrum, Suddenlink, and Xfinity. Frontier Internet can be slower and more expensive than wired Internet, especially when you consider the cost per Mbps. Most cable ISPs offer gigabit download speeds, while Frontier Internet is nowhere near that. While cable internet plans can run you $100 or more per month, the speed you get for that price may be better value for your money. All TV and Internet packages from Frontier include DISH TV - Frontier has discontinued digital TV service to new customers. These packages include local channels and a three-month free trial of the DISH Movie Pack online TV service. After the trial period, you must pay $20 per month unless you call or go online to cancel service.
The company is offering the card in an effort to compete against the likes of directv and dish network
You have more leeway than we think. Comcast must provide a "decent" Level 1 (out of Level 3) counteroffer to maintain service. You can resist, then they'll up the intensity of the claim and give you tier 2 (discounted). I don't know anything about it, and I think Verizon (or whoever) probably has a better deal. This is when the TIER 3 discounts arrive; expect call transfers to get tier 3 discounts. Again, agents cannot access it; a reservation specialist or detached queue agent does. I want 150Mbps Comcast service and 2 set top boxes, 220ch lineup. Would it be better if I ordered the package on the website and then put them at ease or should I try to get the discount right away by adding the TV? I want my bill to be $80-90
