Today in our guide you will learn how to fix the co-pilot voice mode error: Sorry, we'll talk later [Solution]

With Voice Mode, you can have Copilot talk to you with your voice. To enable this, just sign into Copilot with your Microsoft account and then click on the microphone icon to get this option. "Sorry, we'll have to talk later." is the error that shows up for some users and forbids them from using Copilot's Voice Mode. Follow this article to get rid of the issue you're dealing with Copilot on Windows 11 or 10.

The entire error message notice would read as follows:

Sorry, but we can only talk later. I'm trying to find a time that works for you, so check back soon!

Sorry, but we can only schedule a conversation separately.

To resolve the issue with the Copilot Voice Mode message "Sorry, we'll have to talk later," apply these patches. First, try using a different internet connection (if you have one) to see if it fixes the problem. A mobile hotspot is another option for connecting a computer to mobile data.

Simple Problem Solving

Go ahead and log out and back in.

Build a new profile

Flush the cache of Copilot

Do a clean install. Flight attendant

Change DNS settings

If applicable disable Proxy.

Delete all cookies and cache

Sign off all networks

Consider different Firewall and Anti-Virus Settings

You may restore your system or uninstall the Windows Update.

If it is not working after a few minutes don't proceed doing anything.

1. Easy Troubleshooting

Here is the list of checkpoints before advancing to troubleshooting :

Check Internet Connection: Ensure that the internet connection is stable.

Relaunch the Application: With the help of Copilot, quit the application and restart it.

Update Copilot application

Check Service Status: Keep an eye out for notifications about service disruptions or routine maintenance.

2. Log out and then log back in.

See if the issue disappears after logging out and then back in. To exit Copilot, go to your profile picture in the upper right corner, then click the "Sign out" button. To return to your previous session, click the "Sign in" button, then input your Microsoft account details.

3. create a new profile

Create a new profile, and access it with another Microsoft account. If the error occurs, view it. Note: You must create a profile in Microsoft Edge first before using it within Copilot. Once you've created a new profile in Edge, relaunch the Copilot app. Click the top profile icon to select another profile. If you have multiple Microsoft accounts, you can use those to access that profile.

4. Clear the cache of the Copilot application

Like any other application, its cache can be cleared by a Windows user simply by taking the reset route.

For the rest of the settings open Windows Settings > Apps > Find Copilot.

Find the Reset button and click it. Check if it resolves the issue.

If not, click on the Repair button.

5. Uninstall Copilot and reinstall it.

Other than that, reinstalling Copilot is another available option. It is removable from within Windows 11 Settings or through Microsoft Edge. Open the Settings menu and open Apps > Installed apps on Windows 11. Click on three dots after searching for Copilot from the results. Click on Remove.

You need to restart your computer following the removal of Copilot. Please go ahead and open the Microsoft Store to install Copilot.

6. Change DNS Configuration

Use Google DNS by changing the DNS settings. See if it helps.

7. Disable Proxy - if utilized.

This might be due to the utilization of a proxy server. Disable it to see if the problem persists. To test if it works without a VPN, disconnect your system from it. If it does, then contact the VPN provider. If you are on a free VPN service, try a different one.

8. Clear cookies and cache.

If you're still having trouble after clearing your Edge browser's cache and cookies, try again. Once you've closed the Copilot app, launch Microsoft Edge. You can now access the Clear Browsing Data window by pressing Ctrl + Shift + Delete. After checking the boxes for cookies and cache, click the "Clear Now" button.

Also, ensure that all cookies for the Copilot app are cleared. To achieve this, open the application Copilot. Check at the top of the page for three dots and press them to see the settings within the app. When starting the Copilot app in Microsoft Edge, a new tab appears with all the options. To clear the cookies, click the button.

9. Clear Network Cache.

This error may also be caused by issues related to your network. Reset your network to see if that solves the issue. This action reinstalls your network adapters and also restores the networking components to their default values.

Windows will automatically reboot to complete this step. You are advised to back up all your recent work before you reset the network.

10. Confirm Antivirus and Firewall Preferences from Third Parties

You should verify if your other security software is aggressive enough to stop efforts by Copilot to connect to the Microsoft servers, even though Windows Defender does not do so by itself.

Common causes include activating aggressive mode or having Copilot blocked by an administrator. In that case, you should get in touch with the administrator so they can fix it.

11. System restore or uninstall Windows Update.

Sometimes, a problem may occur with a Windows Update. The solution to this is to get rid of the update from your device. You can uninstall the faulty Windows Update if you found out that this was the cause of the issue on your computer.

On the other hand, if you have created backups of your system, you can restore it using System Restore to its previous state. If you will restore your system, make sure to use the date when this problem has appeared.

If you've done everything else and the problem persists, feel free to get in touch with Microsoft Support for further assistance.
