There aren't many special fish and shellfish in the Valley, but the ones you can acquire are pretty unique. You have to fish in specific locations at the right wave color spots to unlock them, so here's how to catch Sorcerer's Hat Hermit Crabs in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Where to Find Sorcerer's Hat Hermit Crabs in Disney Dreamlight Valley

You'll only be able to find Sorcerer's Hat Hermit Crabs at golden wave spots throughout The Bind biome in Valley of Tales. They're exclusive to the biome and the DLC area, so you'll never see them anywhere else.

All Sorcerer's Hat Hermit Crabs Locations in Disney Dreamlight Valley

You can catch Sorcerer's Hat Hermit Crabs in any body of water you can reach with your fishing rod in The Bind, as long as you find a golden ripple spot to fish from. You'll never catch them in any other colored spots or still water, so you have to hunt until you strike gold to get them.

The Bind region has a lot of accessible water. Make sure to cross the narrow stone bridges that lead over the water to the center of the area, as you can access some new fishing spots by doing so.

If you don't know where to start looking, here are all the areas where you can search for golden ripple spots around The Bind area. There may not always be golden spots in the water, so if you don't see any, fish at other colored spots to clear them out and make room for the golden ones to appear.
