Today in our article we will show you How to fix the Modern Warfare multiplayer problem.
Some people could not access it, saying that they either get brought to Warzone or that they are prompted to repurchase the game, which they already own. In such cases, licensing issues, missing multiplayer packs, or cache data can serve as culprits for such occurrences.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare multiplayer isn't working
You mightn't be able to access several modes of the game because of corrupted cache, missing packs, or an invalid license, or the system might not recognize your game as owned. Grateful that the causes are out of the way, now, how to fix it. 1. If applicable, launch Call of Duty: Modern Warfare as a standalone game.
Opening Modern Warfare and Warzone separately avoids the mistake of them opening at the wrong time because such a situation needs to be avoided in order to avoid confrontations. This step, therefore, prioritizes the right game files to avoid problems caused by shared launchers.
Fortunately, a fix has been discovered that is compatible with both consoles and PCs: Use the game's dedicated launcher and run it independently of Call of Duty: Cold War.
Activating Call of Duty: Modern Warfare with Call of Duty: Cold War is not right.
If this bug occurs, do not launch Call of Duty: Modern Warfare through the Cold War launcher.
Instead, it should be launched through the game's official launcher. This has been confirmed to work for both PCs and consoles.

Double click the executable file to start the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare on PC.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare
On consoles do not open the game through the Cold War interface. Instead, directly go into the list for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and then launch it.
2. Clear the cache from your console or PC launcher.
Problems like missing features or unrecognized game ownership can arise from temporary system data. To restore this data and remove corrupted files or obsolete information that could prevent you from accessing Modern Warfare's multiplayer, clear the cache on your console or launcher.
2.1 Remove recent data from PlayStation 4's cache
Turn on your PlayStation 4 and wait for a beep to sound before releasing the power button.Restarting the PlayStation 4 system
Note: Putting the console into Rest Mode does not count as turning it off; you need to completely power it off.
Pull the power cord out of the back after the LED has stopped blinking and the beep has stopped.
To allow any cached data to clear and the power caps to drain, let it sit for at least 30 seconds.
Pull out the power cord, turn it on, and wait to see if you can launch Call of Duty: Modern Warfare's multiplayer mode after some time.
2.2 Clear all saved info from PlayStation 5
Leave your PlayStation 5 on, then wait for a beep, and press and hold the power button on the console-not the controller of it. Power on your PlayStation 5 with the Power button.
Note: A quick press of the power button will make it go into standby mode.
When the console lights have all been extinguished, disconnect the power from the back side.
Allow the power caps to bleed for at least two minutes. Note that this will allow the console to "forget" what it had stored in memory.
When the timer goes off, plug the power cord back into the console and power it on again.
As the system boots up, start Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, then see if the multiplayer is available.
2.3 Delete all stored information on Xbox One
Ensure that your Xbox One is not in sleep mode but is turned on.
To turn off the console's power light, press and hold the power button.Putting your Xbox One system into sleep mode
