Today in our article we show you step by step How to use SuperMSConfig to customize Windows 11.

Here, we will show how to personalize Windows 11 through the SuperMSConfig. Windows 11, like Windows 10, provides the user with an MSConfig utility or System Configuration utility that allows you to edit some system variables. This is also good for troubleshooting of your system. It will allow you, for troubleshooting, to start your system in two ways: Diagnostic startup and Selective startup. It is also used to manage Microsoft and third-party services within your system.

What is SuperMSConfig?

SuperMSconfig is a powerful application for enhancing system configuration, restoring the original settings from out-of-the-box experience Windows installations for immediate customization.

SuperMSConfig lets you go back to the OOBE setup-after having installed Windows 11-where you can make any changes you want. This will allow you to customize settings such as Ad Experience, Intelligent Features, Privacy, and Security settings among others.

You can use the native MSConfig application to control services. Users, though, describe MSConfig as a bit difficult to use. In addition, if the users unintentionally kill all Services within MSConfig, Windows 11 will become bitter in their mouth. Users can also manage services from SuperMSConfig. However, you would only be able to manage some services from it, because it does not list all services.

How to Customize Windows 11 using SuperMSConfig

With SuperMSConfig, you can control a lot of settings in Windows 11 to enhance the experience, not just programs and services. This utility is for everyone. First, download the zip file from GitHub. While doing that, open the extracted folder created after extracting the zip file. In that extracted folder, there is the exe for SuperMSConfig. Just right-click it and select "Run as administrator." That will give you administrative rights to install the application.

Once it opens, choose an item from the drop-down menu and click the Check button. For instance, to work with Ad Experience, choose the item for this from the drop-down menu and click Check. It will perform its magic, then SuperMSConfig will start scanning your computer and display the results. When scanning using SuperMSConfig, there are two possible outcomes: Good Configuration and Bad Configuration. In the Good Config, nothing can be done since it shows settings already set up. You'll want to fix Bad Configs and unconfigured settings in order to enhance your experience.

Bad Config settings are coloured in red, not configured in yellow, and active settings-good ones-show up in white. Clicking the Fix button replaces instantly all the needed or Bad Config settings, while in case you need to configure a few parameters, you would have to do that one by one checking the appropriate box for each option.

The best Personalization settings were scanned and shown in the screenshot at top. The red results are settings that are NOT turned on now. Turn a setting on by checking its checkbox. For example, checking the "Hide Task view button on Taskbar" checkbox will remove the Task View button from the Taskbar.

SuperMSConfig Plugins

You could also spot plugins for SuperMSConfig. Just click on the Copilot icon. The View info link will redirect you to the description of the plugin. Basic system management tasks, it's all here with Clippy Companion: from installing suggested apps to changing system settings.

Click on the Copilot icon then select the plugin to enable, for example, Clippy Companion. All you need to do to install Clippy Companion is type "install" and from the list results, select the program. Say, for instance, you're installing Opera. All you need to say is "install opera" and then select it from the list of results.

We hope the above steps are helpful for you in trialing SuperMSConfig for tweaking in Windows 11. For the time being, we bid you adieu until next time.
