How to Fix Windows is Still Setting up the Class Configuration (Code 56)

That is a pain to get online when network devices are not working properly, and some nice little message appears, such as "Windows is still setting up the class configuration for this device (Code 56)." The problem occurs when Windows can't configure the device well enough. Classic causes include problems with third-party VPN software or driver issues caused by recent Windows updates.

1. Run the Network Troubleshooter.

Open Settings with Windows Key + I.

Click on Internet and Network.

6.Reset the BIOS

This may still be consistent with the problem persisting after the reinstall of Windows; you may resolve it by resetting the BIOS.
