How to Customize Basic Rug into a Water Rug in Disney Dreamlight Valley

One of the most important things you can do in Disney Dreamlight Valley is decorate your own biomes in The Valley. Actually, there are so many features that players can use to personalize how their decorated valley looks. This may mean making usual furniture more appealing.

You will be able to personalize your furniture by making your style customized with colors and patterns that make them unique. Adding water to an otherwise plain rug is one of the most common kinds of custom patterns. Making a Water Rug from Scratch in Disney Dreamlight Valley

Using the Customize option in the Furniture menu, a Basic Rug can be turned into a Water Rug. If the player does not already have a basic rug, they will have to make one before they can customize one.

Disney Dreamlight Valley: How to Craft a Beginner's Rug

It only requires 20x Fiber to craft a Basic Rug, which is available under the Furniture category of the Crafting Station. Fiber, an enhanced material, can be crafted in the Crafting Station using Seaweed. Since one seaweed will give 5x fiber, a total of 4x seaweed will be needed to produce 20x fiber.

Also, note that you could get the seaweed through fishing in bubble-free open water inside the Valley.

When you have enough Fiber, you will be able to create the Basic Rug by using the Crafting Station.

Crafting Water Rug from an Ordinary Rug

This post is going to take you through the simple process of changing your Basic Rug into a Water Rug.

Press the Furniture menu button.

In the categories section, you should notice the "Customize" option, represented by a paintbrush icon.

Once you have opened the "Add new" button, click on the Basic Rug.

Click on the square located on the bottom left corner of your screen.

Click on the Material square and choose the "Marble" texture by left-clicking.

Now go to the color palette and pick up some blue and white.

When you are finished, hit the "Esc" button to exit and save.

P.S. Use any color you would like.

You can put a Basic Rug and change it to a Water Rug and then decorate it with plants and flowers so the rug doesn't look square. You can go even further and place a Waterfall ornament set on top of the carpet for an extra touch.
