Many of the resources that can be found on Amber Island for crafting and completing quests can cause confusion. If you don't know where to find the books, look no further.

Each paleofolk on the Island has multiple quests to do, the first of which usually unlocks once you've moved them to their new home. They're tasked with delivering specific resources or items, as is usually the case.

We can help you out if you've been helping Atlas move and confused the task of providing 25 leaves with the Bitter Bean quest.

How to get books on Amber Island

Special offer! Screenshot by Dot Esports Use the word between the mounds of leaves scattered around Woodbury Forest to get leaves on Amber Island. You need to take a different approach to getting leaves, as opposed to plants that are harvested with a scythe.

The piles of leaves you're looking for are large, multi-colored bushes, making them easier for you to identify. Woodbury Forest should contain plenty, though you'll probably have a chance to clear obstacles and repair areas before you find the 25 you need.

You'll need to dig up four layers of leaves to get the twenty-five leaves you need for the quest, because each layer typically yields seven leaves on Amber Isle. Occasionally, you might find some scattered on the ground, but don't rely on them for a steady supply.

After you have better tools I don't attempt to complete this quest because it requires an upgraded shovel, as it's a hindrance. We're still doing the teaching on how to improve your word if you haven't gotten it yet.

Progressing on Amber Isle and improving the word As a reward for finishing the Plight quest at Barnaby's Museum, you'll receive the perfect word for collecting leaves on Amber Isle. This quest is easy to complete and unlocks when you build Barnaby's house.

Talk to Barnaby once you've completed the house construction, then leave 60 meters of dirt at his house. On Amber Island, dirt is a key resource obtained through dirt patches, and you probably have enough dirt to finish the quest right away.

Assuming you've completed the task Even if you have a sticky situation at the museum, you'll be able to dig up the piles of leaves needed to finish Atlas' quest and excavate larger patches of dirt and clay.
