How To Complete Belega Corridor in Metaphor ReFantazio

Metaphor: Where the main dungeons exist, one can venture into the Belega Corridor. Smaller in size compared to the main dungeon, it actually contains several secretive rooms and plenty of some great things.

Metaphor ReFantazio: Belega Corridor: A Step-by-Step Guide

Let me warn you that Goborns is one of the major foes in Metaphor: ReFantazio's Belega Corridor before entering. Be careful not to use the Healer or Mage archetypes with this monster, as it is very cautious with those who use magic.

Crawling holes are part of this dungeon and have to be used in order to reach various areas of it. Not all of them present themselves out in the open; some of them are even hidden behind barrels. I recommend you take a look at your map and get an idea about which hallways border on each other. Perhaps there is a little opening you can wriggle through.

In this dungeon, the boss is located in the bottommost area, out of three levels. Fortunately, it doesn't require you to use a key or whatever to unlock it. However, down in the basement, there is a Golden Beetle that you can obtain. It's placed in a lonesome hall, where you need to crawl through a hole.

Attacks Vulnerabilities

Most of the monsters found in the Belega Corridor and the following are their weaknesses.

No Goborn:

Ice and Fire: The Vicious Hundo

Wind Nocross

Goborn is the primary boss in this dungeon. The bad news is that they are resistant to any type of attack or element. They seem really vulnerable to this status effect, however, so sleep might be a better option for them. Apart from them, you'll also be up against Nocross and Vicious Hundo, both of which are weak to elements.

You'd be passed on a character's fire or ice magic if at all possible. This should be possible if they've mastered the Mage class. Gunner Archetype's sleep shot can put Goborn into sleep, and they would be handy in that regards. If you still need a class unlock then Knight class is a good alternative choice.

How to Defeat Golgi

The boss of the Belega Corridor is Grotesque Guptauros. Defeating this monster is one of the requirements to unlock Brigitta's bond and to clear the quest A Bullish Embargo. This enemy is weak to nothing but Ice and Pierce-attribute attacks. Recommended to use are Knights and Gunners since they can inflict Pierce damage.

However, it requires Blizza for Ice damage. Much like Goborn, this monster is quite naturally cowardly in front of anyone who casts magic. One has to be an ice magic offspring and apply other classes in order to use Blizza in this fight. If you have a Mage with you, let this be a warning: the boss will charge after some time and amplify its attacks.

Another useful ability to use, due in part to the high amount of Pierce damage it puts out is the Jump Thrust Synthesis Skill. Physical attacks work from other sources as well, though all have reduced damage output. Your reward for defeating the Grotesque Guptauros is the Falchion sword, an item that the Seeker class can wear.

You shall no doubt be able to progress through Belega Corridor and emerge successful by exploiting the key strengths of your group with the right tactics.
