The Mystic Keys are sold by the Merchant in the Contract Coin Shop. This feature will be unlocked during Chapter 3 of the main campaign when Resistance Contracts open up to you. In there, you'll get the Contract Coins to actually buy the Mystic Keys in the first place. Doing so rewards Contract Coins.

One of the earliest Contract Managers and a Contract Coin Merchant can be found in Kastleton, the starting village. The Contract Manager will have some missions for you to start off with. Needless to say, these vendors can be run upon not only at the Starlight Observatory Ruins or Vienta Village but other places, too. At first, you'll have it easy with tasks such as fighting Goblin Fighters and stealing Urstella Tokens from the Goblin Butchers. The Resistance Contracts in Throne and Liberty will no doubt get tougher as you progress through the stages, so be sure to stop by the local armory vendors on the way to stock up with superior weapons. With the Mystic Key in hand in Throne and Liberty, you will open up Mystic Globes. You should stumble upon one shortly after walking around the map with the key in your hand. On the mini-map, they are represented by a globe emblem. Searching in and around those specific places at Kastleton should refine your search considerably.

There should be a red sphere floating around on top of a hill or other high location. Use your grapple to reach those inaccessible places. To use the Mystic Key, interact with the Mystic Globe. Later, you will be randomly rewarded for all that work-whether it is a Trait Conversion Stone or 100 Abyssal Contract Token Points. Just like the Contract Coin Merchant, these Abyssal Contract Tokens are utilized within the open-world dungeons.

In the process of your trips, you're going to find an increasing number of Mystic Globe locations, and all of them have a different gift like these. Finding enough globes gives the ability to unlock Mystic Portals-the grand prize.
