It's time for the most anticipated live event in Fortnite: Doom is approaching the island, and Heroic Hope is preparing his forces for an epic battle. Over the past few weeks, loopers have been working on some tasks for Hope and Captain Jonesy to prepare for this fight against Doom's forces - and the big boss himself - as part of story missions.
Now that Doom is coming to the island, with Doombot's defeat at the hands of the loopers, players are anticipating that everything in Chapter 5 Season 4 is on track to change, including the story and gameplay for the rest of the season. This will lead into events that will propel players into the next season of Fortnite on November 2.

Players must first queue up in a Battle Royale or Zero Build lobby via public and private matchmaking. We recommend that you queue up to enter the match between 1:55 PM ET and 1:57 PM ET. Shortly after queuing up, we recommend that you stay in the air as long as possible.
Then, when it's around 2 PM ET, fly over to the island and build a ramp next to the timer in the middle to watch yourself. We've included on the map above where you can find the timer by placing a place marker.
Make sure you survive until the end of the countdown timer as that would trigger the event and you'll be able to experience the game with other players in your lobby while allowing Heroic Hope to defeat Doom and his forces.
As for leaks, the latest rumors say that in this live event players will join Captain Jonesy, Heroic Hope, and the Peelverine NPCs to take on Doom and his army. Additionally, the voice line leak has also hinted at gun combat gameplay.
