We'll give you the scoop on How to Skate Faster in NHL 25, so listen up.

Get ready to rock the number one skating style in NHL 25 that's going to have you racing over the rink at top speed. It all comes down to preference, but out there on the online game of World of Chel, there's one skating style that a lot of players adore.

The best skating style in NHL 25 will make you skate more ice in less time, even in only Be A Pro. With speedier defenders stopping you from reaching the goaltender on every occasion, what's the point in a breakaway?

How to Skate Faster in NHL 25

First off, the Hustle ability is your best bet to extend your skating speed. Thankfully, it's not too complex of an NHL 25 control scheme. To start Hustle, just click in the Left Stick on Xbox or L3 on PlayStation. Once you've mastered Hustle, knowing when to use it and when not to is far more important.

Most sporting events would be in a place where one would want to use a spring function often. That just happens to be a terrible habit that usually causes one to lose control of the puck and fail to make shots in NHL 25. Even though we only cover a few game types in detail when it comes to the finest skating style, Hustle is likely to be your go-to in every single one.

Hustle severely depletes a player's puck control, making him an easy target to poke the puck out loose or for the opposing team to steal it. You can use it only when the defenders are not so near you. In this instance, it is much better to keep the tempo smooth when you're in tight, protect the puck, and look for an opening.

Another way to switch Hustle off is by releasing the button when you cross the blue line of the offensive zone. If your shot is released from a state of Hustle, or immediately after exiting it, it will be much less accurate. Hustle down a side until you have enough room for a return to a standard set position to attempt the shot, whether you are covered or not. Just remember that your glide will still be carrying a lot of the momentum you worked up prior to releasing the disc. If you wait too long, however, you risk entirely missing the target or hitting the goaltender well before you can get the shot off.

Best Skating Style in NHL 25

Players can take that to the next level by personally customizing their skating style in Be A Pro's offline career mode and World of Chel's online custom skater creator. In this instance, everything from stick height to spine angle can be modified.

You can adjust your player's skating style, among others, in the menu option Edit Player, which is located on the bottom right corner of the screen in both game modes. In order to make the best skating style in NHL 25, you'll need the following levels for these attributes:

Rank of Spine: 99

Backbone: zero

Step Length: 99

Distance Covered: 99

Length of Stomach: 33

No. of reps for upper body twist: 99

Third Style of Hustle

Arm Assault Swing: 99

Hustle Arm Snap: 99

One-Handed Arm Swing: 99

Swinging a stick with one hand: 99

Stick Height for One-Handed Use: 0

Two-Handed Swinging with a stick has 99 pieces.

Direction of Two-Handed Stick: 0

Two-Handed Arm Sweep: 99

Most players like this setup, but you can adjust accordingly, to your likings. If you wish to be more upright and in a conventional position during shots, you should set the values above Hustle Style to 0.

That style likely will not be as fast, but it can feel a bit nicer when you're going into shoot or make a quick pass. If you want to try these out, you want to start in the World of Chel's Loadouts tab. In order to find what skating style fits your style of NHL 25 gameplay, simply visit Loadouts and then choose Free Skate. You can now play around with the styles by switching the mode.

This concludes our How to Skate Faster guide in NHL 25; hopefully, it's been as informative as possible.
