Developing new crops on your farm with each season passing is a surefire way to bring in more money. Though any crop could be profitable in Fields of Mistria, here's what seeds you should develop first.

What Species Are Best for Fields of Mistria?

While thinking of the best crops to raise in Fields of Mistria, pay close attention to the seed price, growing time, and selling price. You are not obliged to maximize your farming in this game because it is intended for relaxation. However, knowing which plants produce the most money for each season would be wise in order to be able to maximize your earnings after finishing the Museum sets.

Optimal Spring Harvest

You have two options for planting the optimal crops in spring. You can buy one Strawberry each for 125 gold, and you can buy all three for an upfront price of 300 gold. It is an amazing crop as it has some outstanding scope for profits with continuous fruits every three day.

This crop is best planted prior to the 15th; afterwards, and it's best to buy cabbage. You can plant the seed for 180 Tesserae in profit, but it's 70 gold to do so. You'll only be getting one harvest off of this crop, as you can only plant it after the 14th. With 110 gold created from a single Cabbage, that's more than enough.

Best Crop for Summer

Watermelon is the best for the second season when it comes to summer crops. You can buy its seed for 70 gold, and it will sell for 180 Tesserae for one fruit and net you 110 gold in profit. It takes nine days to fully mature, just like cabbage.

I believe now is the best time of the year to plant maize and tomatoes. Besides promising much reward, these two plants are prone to yielding ample fruits once planted. Watermelons are a better crop to grow if you want to plant other crops once the middle of the season has passed.

Fall Harvest Success

Though cranberries are often considered the most tasteful fall crop, the honor really goes to the humble onion. Both seeds cost 300 Tesserae, but the Onion seed fetches 135 gold while the Cranberry seed only gets 125. This crop, therefore, is best planted on the early stages of the growing season. By the 15th you'll be able to plant pumpkins on your farm. Like cabbage, this plant will give you 110 gold with each fruit you sell.
